why is itv news not mentioning orph or hvivo?

Both UFO and OMI will do well. I hope you got them early.
MMs are always looking for cheap shares. I have a few shares i don't trade at all and ZOE is one of them. With updates expected soon, i'm sure we'll clime here. Alba is a decent company and if they get decent amount and grade, they will do well.

as i hold mine long, i don;t pay attention to what MMs do everyday. They play a lot of mind games to take cheap shares to best i ignore them. I don't trade my shares. Just add when i can and hold long. Today, almost all on my watchlists are red. Some stocks i trade but not Zoe.

Hvivo, a subsidiary of Open Orphan, has won a contract with the UK government worth up to £10m (€11m).

The company is involved in the testing of vaccines and antivirals using human challenge studies.

The contract with the British government is to develop a Covid-19 human challenge study model.

The model development involves the manufacture of the challenge virus and the first-in-human characterisation study for the virus.

The contract starts immediately and could be worth approximately £10m (€11m) to Hvivo, depending upon the number of volunteers that are included in the study, according to a statement from the group.

Cathal Friel, chairman of Open Orphan, said: “We look forward to working with our partners to develop a COVID-19 human challenge study model which will be used to safely accelerate the discovery of effective vaccines and antivirals against Covid-19.”

"We hope our work will reduce the impact of COVID-19 on individuals and communities, and our thoughts go out to the many people whose lives have been affected by the pandemic."

Open Orphan also said the UK Government has secured the first three slots to test vaccines using Hvivo’s Covid-19 challenge study. Each slot reservation has been secured at a cost of £2.5m each bringing the total value of these slot reservations to £7.5m.

The study is expected to complete in May next year and is subject to regulatory and ethical approval.

It allows identification of the most appropriate dose of the challenge virus for use in future human challenge studies, which play a vital role in helping to develop vaccines and antivirals for infectious diseases such as Covid-19, the company said.

The study will be sponsored by Imperial College London and conducted by Hvivo at The Royal Free Hospital's specialist research unit in London.

Open Orphan reported a fall in revenue for the six months to June 30.

Revenue during the first half of this year was £7.4m (€8m), down from £11.6m (€12.7m) in the corresponding period last year, on a pro forma basis.

Open Orphan made a loss of £4.7m (€5m) for the six months to June 30. The same result was recorded in the first half of 2019, according to interim results released last month.

At the time the company said it is targeting growth with strong operating cash flow in the second half of this year, and says it is on target to be operationally profitable in the fourth quarter of 2020.

this is why i think we may have a seller in the background and prior to JAdam telling us about the 75m contact, we dropped to 89. I was in GDR and noticed same pattern and when we got a TR1, it went up from 90p to 150. Look it up. I think it may be Richard Sneller again. Whoever is buying or selling is done, this can fly. Something is holding us back.

I think they intend to sell it at some point. They indicated that back in Feb and its going nicely for BoD.

The 'potential' of the contract is 75mil. When MHRA is achieved, the contract will be fulfilled all the way up to 75mil i think. Until then, the gov order is for professional use 1mil +. When we get mhra, it means gov has approval to send the test kit to anyone to test at home. I think that's when the big money will start to roll in. MHRA is still the key. Esp, as we won't need most of the other approvals, like fda, mcra and who once we get mhra.

At 95? i hope its the seller done. each day, there seems to be about 1.2 -1.5 trades that go missing. i think that's why the sp has continually dropped. A tr1 would be nice.

Safy - i was surprised why we did not get an RNS BEFORE that info got to the public domain. That shouldn't happen. But the fact we still have not seen an RNS even after contacting them means, there is nothing to RNS.

announcing price sensitive information to the market is his priority. Esp once its out in the public domain.
as for working on capacity, he's had since Feb. A lot of peeps are new here but some of us like, Merchant Banker, have been here for ages. Even took 40p placing shares at 20% only to see the SP go down to 31p. Comms have never been great with Colin. He said he would improve but he clearly has not. Like Safy mentioned below, its a traders stock and thats why people like ReulatorUk ramp one minute and deramp the next.

£75mil and no RNS?

The last 1m order was leaked by BBI 2 weeks before RNS , the speeding ticket was proved wrong as what BBI leaked was 100% correct. Surely, they're not making the same mistake again.

Colin has always said, We don't want to sell all of the ukrtc antibody test to the government. As we can sell for more money privately. At the first presentation months back, he told us they were in negotiations with government so that 70 - 80% goes to them and the rest to be sold privately. Now, why do you think the sell price to the government has gone up???????? The only reason will be that IF government want every test to go to them, they will have to pay more money. Gov have to pay at least 25% of the tests made at price ukrtc would have made selling privately. That's why the sell price to government is now a lot higher.
NOTE: key word government used is we need to 'secure' these tests. Reason for that is an antibody test will be needed for every vaccine. This is why this stock is derisk. Unlike the rest, this test is here to stay.

The MMs on this stock are absolutely cr@p
Their number 1 priority is to provide liquidity. Way before profit making.
It would take someone hours to buy stocks here.
by the way, for 40% raise, you will never get a speeding ticket like someone suggested here. :)

I think it needs to be RNS's asap. Not days or a week later when we're in red.
This is massive for us and this is why we're invested here.
80% of ODX investor does not know about this. Only way to get this news to them is to RNS it. Make it official.
Just like i did, they should get a chance to top up.
