Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
They were done in quick succession so as to knock the sp back down
Yes. Delayed sells now popping up. Can’t last forever though (hopefully)!
Plenty of buying interest too which at some point will supersede the seller
The SP was dropped to fill that order of 1.5 Million shares which has just popped up as a delayed order (appears as a sell but given the time stamp cannot be).
Finally this is moving towards the levels it should be at.
There is a sea of blue and 1.50 looks like it will break shortly.
Here’s to the rerate back to sensible levels.
Good luck all.
I agree. No news here in the morning but hopefully the sp will build from these levels as it is severely undervalued.
The MCAP alone attributes little value in excess of the cash reserves. The coming weeks should see this move to higher levels...particularly given that the placing was done @ 1.75p and we are sat approximately 20% below this.
Hopefully today’s rise is just the start.
Good luck all.
Geng, that is a fair point but I think we are splitting hairs to some degree - ultimately they have forgone cash and opted for shares and for RY it is £80ks worth! I dont think they would do this in the knowledge that this money / shares would be worth less on the next 3, 6, 12 months etc. You are right that we dont know how long the period is for though and perhaps this can be clarified at the presentation.
I am also not disagreeing with you in regard to the management of this process over the last couple of years or so but looking to the future I think the above is a positive step and provide a good opportunity for new investors to jump in at the same level the BoD are in and at the very least for them to benefit from the self servingness of the BoD!
I can completely sympathise GB33, however I would hope that with Riverfort now gone the share price can build on from these levels.
Hopefully this is now a 'resetting' of sort in that:
1. The BoD have put in a large sum of cash
2. The SP is no longer restricted by a continued dumping
3. New and potential investors have the chance to invest at the same price as the BoD
4. The purchase price of 2.06 should hopefully help underpin the SP
5. There should hopefully now be a period on increased news flow (starting with the presentation on Wednesday)
We cannot change the past or what has gone on here but we can look to the future with renewed hope and confidence (if nothing else confidence in the fact that the BoD will be self serving and it is in their interests to get the SP up given they've stumped up £195K of their own cash!).
This is a good time for new and potential investors to buy in IMHO.
Good luck all.
I can completely understand the frustrations by long term shareholders given that a few years ago the SP was many multiples of this and that the BoD seem to have a history of disappointing.
However, unless I am misunderstanding the RNS, the BoD have collectively put in £195k!
RY himself has almost doubled his holding to 6,369,318 at a cost of £80K!!! Not many AIM directors put this much money in.
This surely has got to be a positive sign as if nothing else, at these levels their interests are now further aligned to shareholders and their greed will take over as will their determination to see the SP rise?
Hopefully the SP can move upwards from here in the coming weeks and months. We are after all near all time lows.
All IMHO. Good luck all.
According to the chart that was posted yesterday a drop was to be expected in the short term but at the same time the trend on the chart was up so hopefully it recovers in the next few sessions.
There is a presentation next week and hopefully this is a further driver for the SP. As it stands this seems to be placing churn in the absence of any news.
This certainly feels primed.
There is also an investor presentation coming up (next week I think)...I wonder if there will be something announced on or around that time.
I'm not disagreeing with you mate. Just pointing out that the exclusivity was announced last Nov but the actual name of farmee was announced in Feb. Dewar already has the data room open for months so hopefully some news soon - especially given the close relationship they now have with Shell.
The farmout was announced this February just gone.
It was the exclusivity with a major that was announced in Nov 2018...let's hope we get something by end of this November too!!
It's odd selling at this level unless you really need the cash. The placing was done at nearly 20% higher than the current SP so this is relatively good value at the moment IMHO.
Maybe there is a transfer of shares at an agreed price between two parties? Who knows!
As it stands we are fully funded until 2021 (including our share for two drills) and, excluding cash in bank at say around 13-14 Mill the market is only attributing approx 5 mill on top.
This is way way undervalued imho given Shells involvement and possible news on the horizon in the coming weeks.
I wonder if it is someone known to the company / a director or Algy?
Either way this is won’t move until they are done
Plenty of large buys popping up and share price is still static.
There definitely feels like a sell order being worked as on a normal day we would be up near 10%.
Only a matter of time before this pops though.
Good luck all
There must be a sell order being worked as most trades were buys today and decent sized which on a normal day would have sent this up be at least 5-10%
Anyone with any knowledge of CLNR should know that speed is not one of their strong points. However, when it does deliver it does so very well. It is a waiting game pure and simple. Not expecting much news until next year to be honest.
Looks like a wider market decline too. Most shares are down.
Something has got to give here.
We are at the year lows and news is long overdue. We had a flurry of buys last Friday and hopefully the SP has bottomed and is about to turn. Next few days / weeks will be interesting I think.
