Henryb based on the RNS they didn't.
They now have 223,959,702 shares per the RNS. If you divide the by the old and new shares in issue you get the percentages before and after.
Drilling results success and Cameroon licences are key value drivers. Not long to wait i hope.
Anyway today reminds me of why I dont frequent these boards much as its constant bashing by those supposedly 'invested' and those supposedly 'protecting' investors!
James. Have a read of IFRS 3. Professional fees are expensed and not included as part of the business combination so will be separate from note 8. Thought you would have known this as a chartered accountant.
You haven't factored in the exceptional costs from last year such as the increased professional fees and the bad debt. Likewise there could be other costs hidden away which are non recurring.
Last years admin costs also had professional fees of 7.6m v 1.9m from the year before. I am presuming the increase is due to the acquisition of vanchem thus this needs taking out in any projected figures. No doubt there will be other costs. Like pdub said its all guesswork and speculation.
James you looking to buy in cheaper here?
You kept implying Newmont may pull out. Now that they have confirmed their ongoing commitment you slightly twist your words and say nothing new.
You are a man of many talents legal background, geologist, .... wow well done.
Exploration plans could be announced anytime so be careful. Good luck
Would like to add to the discussions. For those who haven't been here for long and following the story yesterday's news confirms Newmont's ongoing commitment. For a while there has been silence and some have been saying Newmont will walk away.
The yearly spend now increases to $4m. We await news from Newmont on how they will spend this and exploration plans.
Risk v reward here is good. Patience should pay.
All that plus confirmation today of their commitment to the project.
'Significant change of pace: From September 2020, Newmont are contracted to spend minimum US$4 million/ Year in the ground (compared to US$1 million / year in last 2 years)'
$6m invested to date with a further $8m over the next two years. They hold 29,213,186 shares too. Total investment to date is approx £4.5m and once the $8m follows it will be £10.5m.
Confirmation of resumption of exploration to follow soon! I am hoping sometime this month.
They should have put Newmont in the RNS title ha.
Has the RNS gone under the radar? This is huge news with Newmont confirming their commitment.
'announces that it has been informed by Newmont Colombia S.A.S. ("Newmont Colombia") a subsidiary of Newmont Corporation (NYSE:NEM), that it intends to continue to exercise its rights and obligations with regard to the Anzá gold project in Colombia (the "Anza Project") under the terms of the Exploration Agreement with Venture Option (the "Agreement") signed and announced in September 2018.
Newmont Colombia has now paid the fourth and final cash payment of US$500,000 required under the Phase I earn-in arrangement to retain its option and to continue into the 3rd year of Phase 1 of the Agreement during which year it is required to spend a further US$4 million in qualifying expenditure on the Anza Project.'
Bbr return of capital? What's your expectation?
September to December should be exciting. Good luck all.
Bebeto. They may have transferred the full allocation and have to buy back any that are forward sold?
I wouldn't call it mates rates. Rockhopper wanted to sell but they couldn't so a buyer was found but they had to take a discount.
All the 2.66 will probably be the transfers between the institutional investors? One big transaction to transfer the rockhopper shares and these are then re-allocated...
