So blatant defamation can now be excused through it being " freedom of speech ?" I don't think so some how.

BP ; I bet you had no idea that online anonymity wont protect someone from defamatory comments made online.

It's one thing for people with anonymous IDs to throw insults at each other, but another thing to name a company and and the CEO of that company and then make defamatory comments about both of them. LSE can be forced through a court order to reveal the email, IP address etc of the defamer. Don't forget too that MATD is a subsidiary of the Petrovis Group - so he's defaming their name and reputation as well.

Just to say that I'm going to be writing to the company reporting comments made recently by the individual " Aquisace."

Here's an example of what he wrote yesterday ; " Moral of the story, don’t invest in a 2 bit stock like MATD run by an inept doddering old duffer, propped up by his illiterate cheerleading scam artist WOS and followed by the Zombie crew! "

He's also made some serious allegations about the company - likening it to COPL etc. Obviously his comments about MB too are highly defamatory, as well as abusive and offensive.

What this individual probably doesn't know is the following ;

I've filtered this Aquisace person now.

Gravy - like you say, you only have to read his posting history to realise that he's totally unhinged.

I'm also going to write to the company to point out to them that this person is making defamatory/libellous allegations about them.

Great to see some TA observations on this board at last RealPro. To date there's tended to be a bit of a lack of this.

As you say, the bullish hammer candle indicates demand coming in at around the support level, which is good.

Actually, I have been running a couple of successful businesses for over a decade and have just finished a self-build detached 4 bedroom house in the countryside without needing any finance to do it......Enjoy being a paid wage slave though. LOL.

Aquisace - you would have labelled people with paper losses as " losers " ( you can't even spell it right ! ) if they had paper losses in November 2022 when the share price was 7p. Then they might have sold with a huge profit in May 2023 for 7p.....

That's why it's idiotic to label shareholders as anything before they have actually sold up. You are a definite loser with your MATD loss of 4k though.

It's you that's thick - nobody loses anything until they hit the sell button for all their shares. And you've done that already cretin.

You said you lost 4k on MATD. That makes you the loser.

Maybe understand the concept of " paper losses " and " paper gains " before you label anybody a loser.

And I made 2k in one week with Met1 by the way.

Aquisace ; your Met1 is going well by the way with all that dilution going on. 22% down today - yet you were saying that MATD is complete rubbish in comparison with Met1.

Without the 10-1 consolidation the Met1 share price would be 2.8p today, having been about 20p prior to the consolidation....Hope you are still in it.

Proquo ; obviously it works the other way as well. If there so few shareholders, and an RNS creates a sudden strong demand, then the MMs have to ramp up the share price dramatically in order to create liquidity. We have seen this several times in the past, including the sudden rise from 2.5p all the way up to 38p.

Aquisace ; you are completely ignorant of the price action. If it was November 2022 right now then you could be pumping the same narrative ; " the share price is 1.7p, everybody is obviously getting out and the company is doomed. You are all mugs etc. "

Then someone could have sold their shares for 7p in May 2023.....And that was after a 2.5p raise just a few weeks earlier.

You just show little intelligence, and have probably never looked at a chart as a representation of the price action in your life.

To take an example, you get the likes of this "Aquisace " person quoting how much you would have lost % wise by now if you had bought say a year or two ago. I pointed out that someone who bought at around 1.7p in November 2022 could have sold a few days ago at say 2.3p. In other words the share price had pulled back to the mid 1p level lots of time in the past. Between 1.5p to 2.5p has been the default price starting position for the MMs for the last 10 years.

TT1981 ; very true. All the time wasted thinking about the likes of WOS would be better spent working out how the price action actually works.

My guess is that there are no more than a thousand PIs who hold MATD shares, based on each holder having an average of 1m to 1.1m shares. Many are in sticky hands, with many now bagholders who bought in between say 4p to 7p. Most will want to at least break even.

So to take any shares out of those sticky hands the MMs need to do some pretty dramatic things with the share price - 30% after the November RNS, and then again straight after the last RNS for example. If it was a more liquid stock with far more share holders then I'm sure we wouldn't have such wild price swings which allow the professional money to rustle up liquidity when they want it. The likes of Rockhopper clearly have far more PI holders of shares, so the price action as is not as volatile.

Rockhopper gets some really bad legal news about the result of a compensation case against the Italian government, and the share price falls 12%. We get a slight delay in our payment from PC and the share price falls 30%

Our MMs are pretty vicious.

It's worth noting that Heron1 and 2, Gobi and Giselle are all located within the acreage which PetroChina did a 3D seismic survey for when they bought Block 19, which is the neighbouring Block to the north.

Soco sold Block 19 to PC for the equivalent of $120m when oil was $45, and with no 3D seismic survey having been done.
