Hi Bloomberg only makes an adjustment for the 2:3 rights issue but it doesnt account for the shares that were offered at 90p as opposed to the 1.75 trading price
Google accounts for both the 2:3 rights issue and also the discounted shares at 90p
That why some show 671 as the high (no RI or 90p shares)
Bloomberg shows 453 (adjusted RI)
Google and yahoo finance show high of 231 (RI and the 90p shares)
The google and yahoo are the most accurate representation of the previous high compared to today as they account for both the rights issue amount adjustment and the fact that the shares were brought at 90p to subscribers.
We are only 60p away from the high and that is what people should know.
People thinking it will get back to previous high of 4.53 or 6.71 are mistaken
I do hope it does get to 6.71 but we have to be realistic!
It seems the answer is that the all time high is £2.45
Google adjusts for the right splits to give an true reflection of where the price is rather that rights issues being used to make poor investors believe the stock is very low compare to its previous value like IAG looks like now!
Here is the link that explains what google and yahoo are doing, which is the right way i think, especially as they have no vested interest in the shares being traded like the london stock exchange
https://money.stackexchange.com/questions/33688/why-does-yahoo-finance-and-google-finance-not-match-historical-prices
It looks like google has made the adjustment already for the RIghts issue.
The rights issue is where everyone got share at a heavy discount to compensate for all the extra shares in issue.
So the 2.00 now will be the real equivalet of the all time high.
So it looks like we are now within 40p of the all time high.
Hopefully we get the 40p v soon and IAG has been returned fully to its former glory!!
Hi everyone
On google when you search iag share price, the all time high is like £2.00-£2.50
Some people think this will be £3 very soon!
Do people think this will be more than the all time highs?
Are we in a better position than the companys peak?
Or a headline such as: cases confirmed in vaccinated patients, show vaccine less effective than first thought!
Then we are is a whole world of pain!!!
Looks like you can buy or sell now at 20% down today
Shadow Fall, where are your facts?
Where is your ramping mid looking at more than 2.6bn?
Absolute baseless joker!
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKBN27S0WD
(Reuters) - British engineering company Rolls-Royce raised 2 billion pounds ($2.6 billion) from a rights issue on Thursday to bolster its pandemic-hit finances, after shareholders signed up for 94% of the new shares and the rest were sold via a rump placing
They raised 2.6bn when they were desperate 2 months ago and are losing 1bn per month
Where is the magic money tree / loads of money you speak of?
Typical Ramper
Most international airports (heathrow / gatwick ) are tier 4
Therefore cant see how you can pass through tier to fly!!
Rr101
No idea if there will be another RI, but what I do know is that a business cant survive without any money and RR doesnt have any and is losing money every month. In fact 1bn per month (as of aug 2020)
With 9bn market cap that give you 9 months from aug
I.e nothing left by june
Most airlines and airline related business’s make most of thier £ and miles (which RR needs most) in summer and winter holidays.
Now winter is a write off you have to ask yourself if it can last until summer??
Onlyonewhf
Lucky boy on RR
Their timing on the issue was luckily just when vaccine announced
Iag and others wernt so lucky
Sounds like the US want the new strain of covid!
Will all be about Covid 20 next year.....
Once this holiday season is missed, there is a long wait until summer holidays.
I wonder how much the next rights issue will need to be raised by diluting shareholders again?

I agree brexit news will neutralise FTSE but for airline shares its a different storey.

A complete ban on travel with a worsening covid situation is nothing but negative.
Fix brexit you still cant get on a plan because of covid
Fix covid you can fly with a visa even without brexit deal!
Not great!
First time abroad travel is banned since march lockdown
Virgin have just emailed me to say our holiday is cancelled due to new restriction!
Im officially sick of covid!
