RE: Message to Dai2belts12 Nov 2021 12:36
Hi Dai
I may not be PC, though, as many have said, it’s
getting ridiculous and policed in a manner, that
impacts on the ‘freedom of speech’. e.g. l once,
when working as a consultant, saw a blatant act
of discrimination; an A4 poster, which was looking
to employ disabled people; the incentives to do so,
as follows. No need for any qualifications, we’ll pay
for you to be taught and get them; furthermore, we’ll
fast-track you to a prominent high level position.
I learnt from many workers there, that usually, takes three
years minimum and the obligatory 2.1 degree. This local
government body, also cleared the floor, of around two
hundred white workers, while filming a black girl, working
from her desk and communicating through a well-written
script; was that an acceptable act or did it portray a the
department, as following PC guidelines, disgusting.
Lest not forget about gender, while PC administrations
are out on a bender. That link, l could not believe it,
did that really happen; so appalling, though it’s gone
full circle now, where the presence of woman in
positions of power are being addressed; about time
I say, though the UK Government, in my view, still
abide by old-boy school standards.
This is meant to be a HE1 board, thee, board,
which sets a high-level standard; so please tell
me, apart from this one dubious crude post,
have l ever done anything similar, NO.
@SGF
I do atone for my actions, you’ll never
again, see me lower the tone.
So, yes, let let the adults get onboard, all
l can say in my defence; in these times of
unwanted predictions, where, who the
**** are you, are talking such garbage,
I must admit that my standards, aligned
with their level of discourse; though to
upset such friends as you & Dai, the post
seems to have left me so high & dry:)
I wish you both well, in our shared expectations,
though, as Latte said, unique, through, time in my
eyes, as always caused friction to those who abide
with the norm. Dai, bach, we have always shared
our cryptic dry sense of humour, enjoyed our take
on many things, so do me a favour, don’t judge
me, on one lapse of written behaviour.
This post is so long, as you know, it’s a trait of
mine, in hindsight, it shouldn’t been done:))
Still ultra-positive on HE1 progress, the team
now seems to busting at the seams, with so
many well-informed experts in given fields;
their reputations are on the line, for HE1
to deliver, beyond our wildest dreams, the
Gold-mine now known as Helium.
My take, my mistake, sorry guys:)
