You and I have been on the same page with different background knowledge for a good while.
As you would expect I agree with your thoughts.
I would add something – the Finance industry “pillar” to the Bahamian economy is also dying.
And will get worse as govts globally tighten up their tax avoidance credentials in order to recoup CV19 expenditure.
Offshore finance (little islands in the sun) is dying globally and indeed it is my belief that The UK will actually, once Brexit is dead in a few months time, fashion itself as the global “offshore” finance center to The World. 24\7trading.

The overall license area of BPC coverage is 3.3bn - 28bn.

Purv - as a starter can you give me your CV etc and then we can assimilate you.
Actually that penultimate word might have been too much!
Star - just doing it - trying to find best way of reporting excessiveebulience.
And thank you for your kind support - but getting a bit fed up with folks who don’t realize that :-
Some folks give - without wanting anything back!

OK
Everyone has their opportunity to express an opinion and well done.
Now – couple of things – what “tearful meeting with a corporate account?”
Do you not do charity?
Do you think it’s wrong to offer help in these difficult time?
What age are you?
Do you have any experience?
Oh and BTW – 1 post in 1 month and saying that “I’ve been going on for months!”
Have to say – bit disappointed by 7 “recommendees” – but know who some of them are – and – the others are now being tracked..
YOU A’INT GOT A CLUE WHAT YOU ARE DEALING WITH YOUNGSTER!

Ignore that for now - was only half off my points and loses context.
Talk later.
Hiya Companies like Stena, who are amongst the best in the world evolve perpetually and change business plans according to CURRENT conditions.
It is better to earn $215000 a day than sit in Gib earning jack.
And yep they might have decided to buy a lottery ticket in theses troubled times to hit the jackpot with BPC.
Bit like sensible investing – I.e. blue chip (what’s that these days?) but ‘ave a go with 5%.
IMHO There is a consortium being formed.
I TELL YA WHAT - IN 1984 I was working in the biggest dealing room in the world in NY where in order to keep us happy we had a 5 Star canteen -24/7 - to grab and go back to ya desk. Ya make more money.
A bit “wall st - gecko.”
I’m not joking you could have lobster if you wanted - but you could make an extra grand for the company whilst you were eating it – was the theory!
Then one day @ 10 am New York time 1984 (I kid you not for the intellectuals) 500 people who were used to a cacophony of sound just STOPPED. You literally could have heard a pin drop.
RNS or equivalent in those days:-
LATIN AMERICA WENT BANKRUPT AND WE WENT FROM THE HIGHEST RATED INSTITUTION IN THE WORLD TO “I’m out”IN 1 minute.
Now I only say this for reference of experience- I’ve worked my Way through the good and the bad.
During that time of adversity – my team increased business based on extreme hard work 18/24 and team work.
Taught me a lot.
Whilst not literally having been in a foxhole (thankfully) I know I’ve had more experience of downside than most of current generation and I sort of put that generational thing as about a 30 years perspective for the one’s who get it.
I don’t tend to do specifics – minutiae sometimes can cloud long term planning.
I do long term plans – thank goodness with respect to BPC!
Now - rabbited a bit but it is The Weelend so we should be browsing as opposed to researching and I would advise that.
The human brain can only be optimal for approx 27.10/987654321 mins – We need to switch off.
Which is why I drink @ 17.00 hrs on a Friday ( oh ok everyday@ 17.00hrs) but still can’t switch off – unless a squirrel attacks! and can’t switch off even then until vacation of cerebral input – which tends to mean a bottle of Chablis or Amarone.
Yep
Then wake up @ 02.00hrs and kick my heels or feed the birds and Sammy until appropriate time to make my beloved a cuppa – which varies from “oh no not now to I’d love one.”
She’s got it right - worries about everybody but does get 8Hours kip. - I wish!
Me on avg per diem 5hrs if I’m lucky but that’s never changed - That’s just me or us if that rings a bell - which I think it does in some peeps minds.
Rattling on a bit again but you can turn me off if ya like! –
So BPC: which is? Is not? The important bit?
Icemax sums up about 37.987654321 (think about that) of what I’ve been saying (to the LTHs family.) I’m averaging based on my knowledge + some far more knowledgeable than me and a bit of fun thrown in – BUT

I hear ya mate - just got back from Ma and Pa duties.

Thks for your kind comments- yep think family are going to be ok.
Usual geriatric stuff that I guess we will all go through – If I live that long with Squirrel attacks!
Pa is 94 and I suspect he might see me out@ this rate!
Tib Thanks mate – I do think that the BOD have not been idle and that financials – I and Ts are being dotted and crossed IMHO.
In my experience the like of Stena do not commit without fully, legally binding contracts. Yes that may encompass some wriggle room – in the case of XY and Z but that is business @ the highest level for the entrepreneurs who make a difference.
Thanks for your input technically – it is much appreciated.
ATB guys.
