RE: General Update18 May 2026 14:53
I believe that she may have retired at the end of 2025. She handed over management of Apollo Asia to a new manager, Ascender Capital in HK (see the Apollo Asia Fund, December ‘25 managers report). In order to give the new manager a clean slate she offered to buy any holdings which they did not want to continue with. As Apollo are still listed as a shareholder of Empire, she may have been held a position in her own name prior to her retirement or acquired one afterwards either by open market purchase (unlikely as a purchase of this size would have moved the price) or from the fund.
