The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
For now I'd happily settle for a few of the Ryman's clubs signing up first and the mobile version arriving. Interested to see how much revenue was achieved for the first few months of Ramsgate (at least two months should be in the forthcoming accounts). From then on, I don't see why they can't go after Football League and even other sports. Do you know when the mobile for Bet Butler is arriving? It was supposed to be April but still no sign of it. Still surprised by the quiet reaction to the RNS.
Looking more promising, surprised we are not seeing an upward move on the share price. Good to see strong business development activity by the company beyond the patent work itself. This is far better news than any of the Dusanne Infotech, Chryson type announcements. I am guessing it is still up to each club to volunteer to take part? ps. Watcher01 was almost right, maybe this is what he/she meant afterall.
I think "ramp" would be a very generous way to describe watcher01's post given that his/her account was registered today and that comment posted in two threads and that's all. At least a ramp is usually based on some degree of underlying belief or fact on behalf of the ramper. No source posted, no response to posts.
Well, a quick search on the Internet shows that Coral are the "Official Betting and Gaming Partner" for The Football League. They already have a live mobile app on iPhone, Android and Blackberry as well as normal mobiles (and do not license Worldlink). Coral also have live and mature Bet In Play, Casino, Poker, Bingo, Lotto etc. Can't see The Football League dumping Coral with all of that for Worldlink! May Worldlink has won something small like the STL League deal, maybe even Rymans.
If there has been a forced seller and they are done, it will help a lot. Might have been their volumes depressing the price following the recent RNS announcements. Maybe today will be the day the tide turned in WGP's favour. The City Index thing is like a giant dam and if they can open the floodgates, we could be in for quite a ride!
Think you're living in a dream world. This is just an affilate programme like Saxo (Worldlink Brokers), Jarvis (Worldlink Share Trading) and Bet Butler. The only thing that will take this back up to 20p and beyond let alone back to the £s is a patent success. All eyes on Worldlink vs City Index and Worldlink vs Bet365. They need to successfully defend the City Index patent revocation counter claim (or avoid it) and then things will be looking much better. We will hear something soon on the counter claim. If this gets up beyond 10p and holds on this news, it will have done very well. I guess some news is better than none.
Typically uninspiring, bog standard affiliate type offering with an equally non-committal, uninspiring comment by the Partouche rep. All online bookies, financial market companies do this. It is usually called an Affiliate, Partner Programme, White label. Every second spent on this would have been spent on ANY of the 30 UK infringers voluntary licensing. http://www.azonlinecasinos.com/news/20120225/partouche-interactive-lags/
Only one straw I am interested in which is a victory against City Index. Pull that off (as in a victory or a settlement that includes them licensing), then ALL is forgiven. My fear is a defeat, revocation or withdrawal that does not include City licensing. But if WGP win, everything changes for the positive.
There is something in the pipeline that leads out from the back of my downstairs toilet. Yes, maybe something in the pipeline but don't flush before we get a chance to read it. I will wager to anyone £100 that the new casino service when it shows up is a bog (pardon the pun) standard branded affiliate, introducer or at best white label of someone elses site. The sort of thing any person can get.
Truly phenomenal announcement. Global Tipping Limited, Director Keith McDonnell. Incorporated on 30 March 2012 - six weeks ago. Based in Big Brick Barn, Halsall, Lancashire. http://companycheck.co.uk/company/08012867 Website is "coming soon". Nice holding page right here: http://www.napdaq.com/
Whilst not entirely wanting to rain on the parade, I think it is another example for typical WGP rubbish. The January Press Release from Ramsgate and Worldlink said £20,000 PER MONTH for Ramsgate. Now it is "TARGET is for 4 figures" i.e. hoping it will break £1,000. This is a quote from the Kent Messenger newspaper in January: "RAMSGATE have clinched a deal that could make the club millions and propel them all the way to the Premiership. That's the view of Neil Riches, managing director of Worldlink". "Therefore, if Ramsgate were to get a thousand people using their betting site, that could mean potentially £20,000 a month in revenue. And if you multiply that across non-league football and the whole of the grass roots community, this is a huge help towards the running of the clubs." Today the Ramsgate Chairman said: "Our target is to generate a four figure sum" So now even achieving just 5% of Mr Riches hype is only an aim! Even if Worldlink themselves got £1,000 per month from 30 companies, that would only be £360K per annum. They are currently losing several million per annum. ps. nothing on AppStore for iPhone or Androi for anything under Bet Butler, Worldlink or Ramsgate. No place to download a mobile app on Ramsgate, WL or BB. You can access it via a mobile browser as before. WHERE is this app if it is now available???
I am all set up for my first week of sun in the garden and it is raining yet again. Might have to learn Bridge but was saving that for my 60th! Hi Doji, I can find no mention of the Casino or Poker thing anywhere on Bet Butler. I think we have come to expect creative drafting from Worldlink but maybe they know something Bet Butler don't. Interestingly, when you consider that Bet Butler are a conceirge service not a bookmaker and that they pass all bets onto the actual bookmaker for a referral fee, it does call into question how Ramsgate can get 20% of net losses as Worldlink state when the commission fee is only 3% or a proportion of wins/losses as a whole to Bet Butler. A proportion of the amount Bet Butler get as a their referral fee from the bookmaker is shared with the Affiates in their programme such as Worldlink and Ramsgate. So, if someone losses £100, I cannot see how Ramsgate can get £20 of it as WGP imply. We shall see because the new Worldlink accounting period will include the first two months of the Ramsgate/Bet Butler deal. Let's see how the revenue stacks up.
