I get excited about a huge engineering project undertaken in a professional manner, with due diligence for the environment, with massive potential for the local and national economy, and in a part of the country I love to visit. Seems they are a large, well established company and make new and retread tyres for commercial and private vehicles. They have links to motorsport in Italy and some sort of link to Pirelli. Sounds like a good platform to develop enhanced materials for tyres building on Directas experience with cycle tyres....GLA
Before investing in Directa I considered Versarian. Directa has several promising products in different sectors whereas Versarian seems to specialise in thermal management albeit with applications in different sectors. I'm hoping that in the medium term Directa will prove a better bet...anyone got shares in both?
Looks like Lagan has some �history�....assuming Breedon have done their homework OK and cherry picking the best bits it would seem they will be safeguarding jobs for Lagan staff and opening new markets within the U.K. and the EU via Ireland...GLA
I e-mailed Breedon a few days ago and asked if they had any exposure to the failure of Carillion. So far I have not received a reply or even an acknowledgement. I understand the information could be sensitive but surely they could muster a response..is that an unreasonable expectation?
