This is a deep high pressure well the fact that the mud is returning with no issue is fantastic.

How quick will oil pour out of a straw compared to mud is the way to think of it.

Oil will pour freely in no time at all mud on the other had will take far far longer if at all depending on is characteristics hence slow controlled flow rate of return is great news.

Nice and steady before we open this one up 2000 bopd minimum at this depth and pressure is my two pence worth.

CC into the 12s tomorrow and building up to the 13s before next news is my gut feeling. On news of mud cleared if announced onto the 15s awaiting rates.

Genuinely don't think many are following CASP at the moment. I remember way back when GKP announced their first find and nobody knew what to do, it was only on the actual oil flow rates that the SP erupted and everyone sat up paid attention and started crunching numbers. Well we all know where that went but, ultimately how its ended up. Unstable country in an unstable region with back handers, royaltys, PSCs, Directors deals and everything else on top. Compare that with a far more stable country recognised and setup for oil production, a board of directors who have been long serving and a national holding the largest percentage and we can see where this is going on good flow rates.

Learning as they go and all oil finds at approximately the same depth confirming this is a basin wide find so far.

Will it be the whole 58km2 is the interesting part now, with 3 wells flowing early next year we the current Sp will be history.

Furthermore this oil is under high pressure so at an API 38-45 and going from the cores taken at A5 this will flow very nicely.

A8 almost there now exciting times ahead with A5 soon to be put back on test after a successful sidetrack.

So with a range of say 38-45 API low sulphur oil potentially across the basin of 58km2we have a monster in the making.

A5 was 43 API and the A8 oil column is in the same structure roughly at the same depth. There is no way it’s not a typo. API 48
Seriously surely this was proof read by all the directors before release..!!!

Market will wake up to this on the next couple of RNSs meanwhile we get the opportunity to top up at bargain prices like we did with early A5 except I feel a whole lot better about A8 this time round.
