All about pilling products and customers on top of the platform, THG seem to be masters of this, BOO need to go on the acquisition trail , load up on debt and go mad on buying / acquiring every product / brand in sight.

If the Boo platform isn't good enough, then BOO will be bought for its rapid product creation engine, which as it happens might be attractive.

DYOR, debt free , rapidly growing boo could be hugely attractive to an organisation that already has the US market nailed and wants to immediately add Boo's products/Engine to its pile.

I did some work with a software vendor that supplied Alshaya with their eCom platform , they are seriously scaled up for large scale ecommerce so pilling on a few thousand additional products or branded websites and all the logistics that comes with it should be straight forward, I do wonder what this means for margins and revenue, but I guess pilling revenue at any margin on top of sales is a net positive.

I wonder how this compares to Boo going it alone in this region.... probably a lot quicker, bigger earlier and allows boo to focus on the bigger target , like the US, suspect we are going to see serious investment in US logistics in 2021

Looks the FCA have pushed as far as they dare on this, suspect AMGO will go down the same route as long as shareholders do not benefit......

these are looking good value on a PER of 4ish..... looking for them to move higher if not be bought out as they are cheap , ultimately there model has to change or they have to pick up something other than paper distribution...... any industries need mass morning deliveries???????

I think the strategic deals like Nordstrom , will become regular for the etailers which will ultimately lead to M&A in the industry, global warehouse scale is likely to determine the winner with some big players likely to enter in the market

After all the mans son died, so a little respect given, dont worry the times still managed to get s dig in there as opposed to supporting the transformation of an industry.

For those that don't know, Boo can switch an entire product line within hours , thats the pace of change required to seize sales in this new platform based sales department, having physical shop just acts as a preventer when businesses try and react to market change.

Boo for me are a leader in this field and will endure, those that are holding (long term 5+ years) will reap the benefits .

cancelled my sell trade @25p looking for a jump to 30 in short order , feel good factor is coming forth with the 19th of July opening up bell.

bought some of these after the lockdown / opening notes this weekend, plus seeing in bournemouth how opening up is going, staycation is full steam ahead with the beeches packed already.

Target price IMHO DYOR style is 30p

Plus , UK businesses are deemed cheap currently , and based on Boo share price being static for over 12 months, says the progress that its making isn't reflected in the current share price.

I think £5.50 would be an interesting opening bid, but due to the owner having a large position its unlikely to be a welcomed approach, I should imagine that the other online players wouldn't be too happy with a sizable global retailer taking a huge position in the online market, from a Gap position, a great way to show real intent in online and admit defeat in physical stores.

UK 5G market is screaming out for a hardware supplier since the Chinese were prevented from selling in the west, instead of a UK company getting the business this has gone to other EU businesses, which is the big opportunity that I feel these have missed, clearly the EV market is big, but yet to make a sale and EV companies will come and go whilst they try and compete with Tesla / Chinese and probably fail.
