I don't see it as much different to all the idiots on the various message boards attempting to ramp/de-ramp a share. Albeit that Musk could potentially have more of an influence than a nobody on one of many message boards around the world for any given share. ... and if it kicks the hedge funds/shorters where it hurts, then that is a bonus.
It still amazes me, when I read various share message boards (including LSE.co.uk), that so many 'insignificant nobodies' think they are going to influence a share price with their cr@p talk on the respective website/board, when there are hundreds of other sites around the world that do exactly the same thing!
Stobart Group has now officially changed its name to Esken Ltd. Effective today. New name. New board.
LSE & HL have updated the name. IG haven't yet so it seems to be a mix and match day!
See you on the new boards (unless you talk cr@p then I won't see you at all as you will have been filtered!) ;)

A new name. A new chapter.
Lets hope it is good for everyone!
A shiny new message board. Free from ramping, de-ramping and unsubstantiated hype!
Lets see how long that lasts!
Looking at Short Tracker I see that Whitebox have 0.33& (down from 1.22% in the last few days) and Oceanwood Capital Management still have 0.45%. That is assuming I am reading this correctly and the information is up to date;

The R-Rate has been lower.
People get complacent, think everything is fine again or just ignore the rules altogether
Government opens up parts of the economy to either placate the masses or line their pockets.
The R Rate goes up.

Until the vaccine roll-out is complete, don't get over excited.
Shops are unlikely to be opened again before Easter, more than likely later.
I would like to be proved wrong on this but we will have to wait and see.
I tend to agree with G.
There has been a few minor improvements so far but in the whole scheme of things we have a long way to go before anything resembles our former "normal".
Vaccinations will be ongoing until the Autumn at least. I don't expect to get my first jab until July/August at the earliest. I am in the "50s" group.

The party hasn't even started STOB 's 70%-80%% undervalued now. I think It will make up 1/2 of this in the next 28 days.

The party has been a long time coming. It is a bit like all the music concerts I should have been going to last year. Delayed and postponed.
I, for one, have been waiting since 8th June last year for this one. By the looks of things, a lot of people have been waiting considerably longer.
Onwards and upwards, hopefully.
I have to admit I prefer the factless ramping with added random speculation of where the share price will undoubtedly not be anywhere near, in X days time.... not forgetting the occasional inclusion of the initials "J" and "B" somewhere in the posting ;)
I'm still watching and reading in the background. Varying my AMGO holding as and when.... and not always getting it right!
It would have be nice to see the share price at least get back up to its close price from yesterday, rather than slowly ebbing away. I've had a reasonably good day with TLW and STOB. Although none of these three are yet back in profit for me, TLW is within touching distance and AMGO does have the potential. We wait and see.
No predictions here of up or down. I only have a 50% chance of getting it right ;)
Still pretty new to this myself and, like DPRogerson, was not sure what VReq was. Thank you for the explanations.
Expru; Monday is still good with me

I haven't experienced a change on my credit scores however with Experian. It has been the same since October 2016. I do however find Experian to be highly inaccurate. I own a few properties however the number and the amounts on finance shown on Experian are completely inaccurate.
Personally, I prefer Clearscore and I find that their report of number/balance of mortgages, number/balance on credit cards, bank accounts, telecoms and utilities etc are seriously more accurate and the rating fluctuates depending on balances
