As we ponder the fundraising and tomorrow’s sp the SD rig is moving past the Scilly Isles. It’s all looking very promising as more funds are pulled in as the Rig is underway. It will be interesting to see if any II’s become visible when the placing completes.

I wonder why the pontificating deramper in chief failed to mention First Majestic’s view on the share price. You will remember they did due diligence on Condor before taking shares at 50p as payment for half the Sag Mill. They are a major mining company who understand mining and Condor. FM said they believe the shares are worth double what they paid now so that’s £1.
Perhaps it doesn’t suit your deramping agenda whereby the shares won’t go up anytime soon!

I certainly don’t want to disappoint Seingred and therefore call him out as deramper in chief for his takeaways from the webinar. I think we are all capable of listening to it ourselves and forming our own opinion. Seingred has as expected gone through now irrelevant history to set out a negative view for Condor to discourage buying anytime soon.
He leaves until the end the key new information to takeaway from the webinar which he briefly mentions would change his negative scenario. This of course is toll milling which would blow his negativity out of the water.
This is my takeaway from the webinar:
Toll milling is mentioned in the presentation at least twice and then when Mark is questioned about it, he says he is personally very keen on Toll Milling. He makes it clear most tasks that needed to be completed prior to toll milling have been completed. When the FS is done they would be clear to go if they have a partner. Mark says he is limited about what he can say about Calibre for commercial reasons but it is a very good indication that he is talking to Calibre. Remember where the new CFO used to work!
I think Mark will leave no stone unturned in his efforts to secure a Toll deal in the very near future. It is in his best interests as a shareholder as it is for other shareholders to minimise future dilution.

The trial may be taking on a different dimension due to the events of the last few days. It is certainly an opportunity not to be missed. Right time and place springs to mind.

It is surprising that a company with a second generation Covid vaccination currently being tested in South Africa is not attracting more attention. The potential for a Biontech type deal with Pfizer or Moderna or others must get more likely by the day.

MOU Extension - Phulbari Coal Mine Development

The Company advises that, further to its announcement of 2 June 2021, Power Construction Corporation of China, Ltd. ("PowerChina") has agreed to an extension for a period of a further 12 months from 6 December 2021 to 6 December 2022 on the same terms as the previous memorandum of understanding ("MoU") which is primarily focused on the Phulbari coal mine development. This will allow PowerChina and GCM to determine the modality for PowerChina to become a Mine Development Partner, subject to the approval of PowerChina internal compliance and all other relevant regulatory agencies.

Under the MoU, PowerChina and GCM will discuss and negotiate a mutually agreed business relationship to partner each other in developing the proposed coal mine based on the world class high quality coal resource of 572 million tonnes (JORC 2004 compliant) at the Phulbari Coal and Power Project in North-West Bangladesh (the "Project"). These discussions will cover key areas of finance, project development and mining operations.

As announced on 19 October 2021, GCM remains in discussions with China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. ("NFC") regarding an extension of the framework agreement announced on 15 October 2020 which expired on 12 October 2021.

Michael Tang, Executive Chairman of GCM, commented : "GCM continues to work closely with PowerChina on the Phulbari Coal and Power Project. PowerChina brings an incredible amount experience and credibility to the Project. We are very pleased to report the extension of the MOU with PowerChina and continuing the ongoing discussions leading up to a partnership in developing the proposed coal mine, which is a pivotal aspect of the Project.

I think you can all make your own minds up without the need for deramping comments.

It is not really down 5.3% it’s just how they price this charge which is the latest AT trade rather than the mid price which is the usual way. So the spread is 7.30/7.56 but we are currently priced at 7.32. Very irritating and that’s why it keeps bouncing around during the day. But I agree it’s disappointing now the rig is on the move that it’s not moving up today on the current volume of 3.25 million.

When you say read the summary do you mean the “about Scancell” section at the bottom of the RNS, which appears on all RNS?
Did you actually attend the AGM?

I think everyone will agree that a toll mill deal or deals is very important to Condor prior to funding the mine capex. CNR is continuing to achieve its milestones in the run up to production but the market is not rewarding this. Toll milling can turn the sp north again very quickly as cash will be coming in. Time is moving on and Mark needs to do a deal now whilst he is in Nicaragua and announce it before Christmas.
