The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
if you have a problem with the ramping from JP you only need to refer to the comment no-one will lose money at this price made in a public meeting with the NOMAD present and not retracted or caveats added.
you can start a class action against him based on the reassurances you were given.
If your not prepared to go down this route wait for the LE and see what price the BOD achieve.
i hope for greater than 50p but expect a offer near the value in the brokers note with some future payments based on additional discoveries
try posting on the other sml board not the .GB.PL
yes no one knows what is possible but we know what we are selling.
the existing discovery worth 27.2p and 20TCF mid case seismic proved prospects. we may throw sidi in if a buyer wants it who knows.
so yes we should achieve a better price than the current SP but i find it hard to see a number that mean everyone gets out without a loss which surely the best we can hope for
my take from attending today is that JP is happy to sell either the company or the asset.
it was also confirmed that we have previously received an offer not that i know what it was- i assume not good.
i hope we can get something back in the region of the brokers note valuation as we only have the discovery and many drill ready leads/prospects.
what this is worth i dont know but it must be worth more than current SP so i continue to hold but will never invest in a JP company again.
please remember Marco company is first in line to be paid about £25m on any sale before we see any cash.
i have been wondering since the options award RNS if we are being lined up to be sold.
the extended due diligence and todays announcement could lead me to a similar conclusion.
any thoughts?
so we should see a holdings RNS soon?
think they had a deal agreed and the new offer came in better
only my thoughts no idea if it is the case
or is a sale being lined up?
I am as gutted as anyone with the result but does the RNS not say we encountered hydrocarbons but not in producible quantities. If this is true the basin model could stil be valid. It was always a risk that the formation could be tight. Maybe someone with a better understanding could comment sensibly. Thanks
