The bars were going to be through the royal mint. They offer a service where they hold your bars. You own x amount digitaly , saves you holding physical bars.

I have always wondered if my allocation of shares were part of the shares borrowed to the shorting company. If so i would be well peeded off. And if theres a process to stop brokers lending your shares then i would be up for that.
