Well I've been here for about 4 years and everything Phinx has said to date has come true, the most accurate poster on here backed up with fact's, after 11years this company has no prototype, do you honestly think the likes of Volvo would be interested, it's just a letter of interest, means give us a working product and we will look at it that's all it is.

This little company.. There lays the problem all parts are out sourced where they have to wait there turn, as manufacturers working on other projects, any modifications might not work as good as expected so back to the drawing board, every modifications need testing, this all takes months. I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't sorted by years end. You need to live in the real world. Gla.

This has more development work to be carried out as stated in the RNS, until Volvo get a fully working unit that they can fit and test, I very much doubt if will here from Volvo at this stage. Depending on what re development work is required it's just guess work on time scales imo few months ATB.

They should sell the technology on to a big player who develop this a lot quicker, then sell it under licence. Everyone's a winner.

Why stop at exhaust heat, many other heat sources to tap into. Gas fired power stations, Steel works furnace, jet engines etc.

If this is used for exhaust heat, why only diesel engines??

So as I was quoting Car's how can I be misleading. 600/900 is the temperature range of a Car!

This device thinking about it should have no input as it's taking heat from source output.
For there to be no prototype to date could be due to individual component failure due to high temperature ranges on different material's married together, using high temperature thermoplastics gets really expensive using other high temperature materials that need to be shaped would cost a lot for castings and tooling, so the technology maybe not cost affective with materials still going up with what is going on in the world at the moment.

Maid.. it said waste heat from exhaust temperature energy. Exhaust temperature range from 600/900 F.

Basic physics you can't get out more than you put in, no exhaust temperature would be able to produce 10kws let alone 30kws!

Mag .. look up how many MPG your car can do, then try getting within 20 MPG of there figures. It's impossible because of the way the tests are carried out. As I used to be involved in the tests carried out when prototype was getting near to going into production, tests are carried out in clinical conditions.

Getting a reading of 30kw on a short test doe's not mean it can be sustainable for a long period, a car alternator gives out 14.6 volts, if I put my foot to the floor and held it there it could go to 17volts, but how long would my car sustain that! This 30kw needs to be verified by an independent body, anyone can give out what figures they like on everything they like otherwise, been in the automotive industry where they test to destruction!

Mag.. If this is ever fitted to a car when this energy gets produced where does it go what is it used for etc. Because the alternator has already been invented.

I wouldn't mind betting that Mag. / Sharebel spotted this share on the riser's board last Monday morning, read the RNS got over excited got there money in quick, all without researching the history, now they are trying to amend there mistake by sucking in the inexperienced!!!
