Only on here would certain posters suggest that director buys were a negative,the truth is there are no concrete rules around directors buying shares and even fewer on selling.Personally i think when a director buys or even non exec it should be viewed as a nod in right direction.It is clear that this purchase was the main reason this did not do a 20% lift today ,however tomorrow is another day :-)

I see todays news and director buy as perhaps the real starting gun here on the countdown to the big RNS,and as has been said before when its ready its ready ,regardless of proximity to AGM or any other factors.When things need to get done they get done at the time and in my opinion that time is very near now.I say well done to the CEO !

The news today is really positive and shows our new CEO has intentions of making this company into a real prospect at last,i also see the name change as a very good move.Reading between the lines i think he is hinting that he has more than one firm potential JV partner and funder in the bag.As to if they would wait till the name-change to announce deals i do not think that would be a problem,because the legals and paperwork would be done in the new company name anyway.So if that is the case the RNS on JV and funding deals could land anytime between now and the AGM,one thing we can be sure of at this stage is that the "wheels are in motion" at last on the blue chip asset that for so long has been waiting to go.There will be many on sidelines looking at the news today seeing this as a great time to build a postion IMVHO

I still say why would they have self imposed a suspension and then lift it if they had nothing to say ? the probable reason is they have been doing the "legals" on the JV and the PSC. Standby for fireworks IMO

Well we have an imminent RNS due on the PSC and JV, that news will give this a tasty re-rating and make hefty gains IMO

It has a chance of crossing 3.5p by close tomorrow IMVHO

Some nice buys going through now,cheap stock is now limited ,expecting a lively close here today.

A very exciting period is starting now for UPL and its holders,the PSC and JV could re-rate this multiples of current price and put the company on a very firm footing.There will be lots of interest in this company now IMO

Jelly,no misunderstanding from me, and actually UPL does not need ramping just check the latest RNS as you will see why,anyway i will speak no more of it , it was only a brief mention as it came out of suspension yesterday.

As for boil , a tad down today but should bounce back by end of week early next IMO

Jelly,it is not a cross ramp,there are many holdres here that also hold there too,Upland are shortly to announce the conclusion of both the PSC and JV partner which could see the shares treble quickly. Two brief mentions does not constitute a ramp mate .

NCTrade,yes it is all there in the various RNS and company statements, i feel like there is a major announcement coming shortly in ref to both PSC and JV partner, they are connected of course. Should get a mighty re-rating from that IMO

We are down a tad today but UPL looks set for a decent move up IMO

Reading between the lines of latest RNS and statements i would say the JV is very close to be concluded,i do not see why they would have a self imposed suspension and re-commencement of trading otherwise.What would be the point ? it points to a significant announcement being very close IMO

BP have been suffering from the latest round of anti-oil rhetoric from the leading analysts yet again,most of this is to feed the woke mobsters IMO but in truth the company is in rude health. I always keep some BP in my portfolio for the income but also often buy the dips.

At least once a year i also pick out a junior oiler that has a realistic chance of some hefty solid gains,this time around im picking UPLAND RESOURCES ( LON:UPL ) they are about to conclude a JV with a regional oil major ,and in my opinion it could easily double or treble in fairly fast. Great time to buy at moment IMO

Is looking like there may be some decent newsflow around the corner here,going by that huge spike we had for the potential bid a while back i would say strap in for some very exciting times.We know they been talking to some oil majors and have had offers.In other words UPL are in a strong position to choose desired partner :-)

Could easy double or treble on that news IMO

We have been treading water here for a while,but all good things come to those that wait :-) our new boss is putting all the relevant pieces in place and i am sure we will see some decent newsflow over the next 3 months.

As an aside anyone see that UPL came out of voluntary suspension yesterday to judge by company statements and hints in various RNS i would say they about to announce a big JV partner,haspotential to double or treble your money there very quick IMO there will be buyers flocking in there today imvho

Interesting timing for lifting of suspension, i would say they would only have done this if they were confident of announcing that new partner or indeed partner,s . The assets are very good and there has been very strong interest from partners and investors. Has great near term and long term potential this one IMO.

This should not be down at these levels so there is currently a huge buying opportunity here.

We still have strong support at 0.66p currently, i would be suprised if that was breached this time around,in my opinion if we go sub 0.70p again shortly the buyers will arrive .

Yes i noticed that :) dont forget after the RNS today it also means that a further RNS with details of the finance sign off can land literally anytime. That is why anyone selling now is foolish ,imagine another early RNS tomorrow ? it could happen IMO

It is actually the opposite,with the announcement of official launch it means that the govt has seen enough to rubber stamp the project,that also means that they have enough guarantees on the finance. In other words WE ARE NOW IN BUSINESS orbeit after a lengthy wait. Kefi valuation on TK alone should exceed 3.6p :-)
