Tested the 200DMA today but has remained above it, and after a very long/strong sideways consolidation, hopefully this is just a bear trap today that the SP is about to burst out of... MM's will take my entire holding for 1.021p which is normally a good sign. I just bought a few more anyway. AIMO. Good luck all.

In addition to Jambone's post about the spread betting option, as an individual investor you can also borrow shares in a company from a trading platform, you pay a fee for the duration of the loan. You can then sell the shares, which can cause the share price to drop (if you sold enough), you then re buy them at a lower price and make money if the SP rises.
You have to give the same number of shares back that you borrowed....

There are dates set on this, but the CPX lawyers will have advised the company on this, you can be sure, otherwise they are potentially liable for negligence...
Anyway, I've emailed the company with my thoughts below.

CPX were claiming for the period before the patents expired NU. Which they were/ are still entitled to.
Companies can now get up to the same, with the new ones., the tech is so good. An appeal victory would be massive protection for these types of patent disputes moving forward (not just for cpx)
cpx....must appeal the recent jury decision against them, otherwise every tom, dick or harry will be trying to use other companies' i.p, as they know they'll get away with it- especially in the states. not appealing it would send out a very weak signal imo, plus there could be some half decent cash to come from it
historically, the majority of appeal decisions by judge have gone in favour of the plaintiff of patent infringement cases. somebody posted a link to the legal article this info came from a few weeks ago. i can try and dig it out if anyone is interested.....
they've gone this far so would be crazy to stop now. as bond once famously said, " no point going off, half-****ed..."
