Sundagas, developed the Islands own structure for the industry, been at the
heart of it since 2016. Baron may own it now but it is the SundaGas people
that will make it happen........GLA

this firmly puts the Northern project and the escalating Infrastructure together
starting at page 2 , 2023 Infrastructure 201m , 2024 1.3 billion........

Mainly as they have said the Island is skint without new revenues, Bayu main
reservoir its main source for the budget funding , depleted, now working on
offset reserves after a drill program late last and early this year, those reserves
expected to run out Spring/Summer 2023.....
As it's been since day one, only they can fix it and bring trust and the Majors
who left back to the table..........GLA
;))
Fish
as you can see, SundaGas and Chuditch , have been heavily promoted by the Island
since , they started the ball rolling in November 2019.....
Can't believe, they would choose other than Chuditch development, for the domestic
supply project.
Beaco, not going to be ready until 2030 if built (per tender put out in Oct 2022) if ever
built, likewise , if not funded and built, the rest of the JV still want Darwin, so would
not happen quickly and Kelp in limbo , neither operator or license......
Just feels like, the jigsaw pieces all fit for Chuditch, with a bigger player
meeting the Islands timeline........GLA
:))))))))
IN-VR 2020 took over not 2021....lol

https://www.industry.gov.au/sites/default/files/2022-09/heads_of_agreement_the_australian_east_coast_domestic_gas_supply_commitment.pdf
Yesterday's article named those primary East Coast LNG companies as Santos, Shell and
Conoco
All very familiar with the stalled Timor Leste , maritime area of the prolific Timor Sea
Tick, Tock, Knock , KNOCK........
Santos/ENI mou JV - to acquire more assets in the Timor Sea, remain favourites
Shell and Conoco, know exactly what it there, they left them behind, things open
back up and they might want their balls back...........GLA
:)))))))))))))
More on that story yesterday, OZ Gov, to work with leading players to increase
domestic supply (Queensland East OZ) Santos, Shell , Conoco and committed
to maintaining Australia's high position in the world exports markets.
If a gas supply shortfall is forecast for Australia, liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects may need to limit
exports or find new gas sources. (3 big plays sitting in the TL pf)
https://www.industry.gov.au/mining-oil-and-gas/oil-and-gas/securing-australian-domestic-gas-supply
The Australian Government seeks a gas market that:
benefits all Australians
strengthens our economy through liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports
delivers competitive domestic gas prices.
:)))))))
things to do
manyana banana's
and slap myself, what was I doing in February
missed that article......lol
So 3 links in the chain, the 2021 study , your February article and the
last couple of weeks mentions for Metinaro Lng tank farm etc
Only one link left, WHO if not Chuditch can supply them with local gas
:)))))))

as said , all good stuff and confirms and fits with the budget statements
and increased infrastructure spending, such a large amount, has to be
the LNG-Gas power station project, with all islanders having a stable
electricity supply available, by whatever the date was.
Most of the population centres across the North, so it makes perfect sense
and vastly reduces the previous distance between Beaco and the Stations.
:))
Posted some extra details on that fellowship recently Al
Six posts with ANPM at the end of it, runs from this December for several months
each prospective candidate, is being individually mentored by an Australian
professional, the OZ Ambassador to Timor Leste , is also taking a participation
role in the Fellowship.
The panel and mentors, will determine who gets those 6 posts based on results
and performance over the duration of their training.
Came across another, that seemed to suggest, local trainee trainers in the mix also, who
will run follow up courses as required, so not a one and done, they are again planning
for the future, another good sign, things could finally move soon...........GLA
;))
Is nice confirmation, that things beyond thinking about it , are in play
all fits with the recent budget, long term estimates for Infrastructure
until 2028, which rises by a billion in 2024 and stays high until 2027
for newbies perspective, the initial entire Island budget for 2023 was
1.8 billion (2024 Infrastructure projected 1.3 billion)
Those figures, the urgency stated in Parliament for Gas conversion, the removal
of that legacy Albatross name (tasi) , with Northern site development.
Has to be a plan to now build and complete all stated in the recent post, North about
to come alive and somebody has to feed it.........Chuditch with new owner to fast track
in pole position.............GLA
:))))))))))))
Al
not sure if that is not the original , the Gov announced the studies for the Import facility
April 2021, the initial results published Dec 2021.
Like the new studies for the southern Beaco site, they have kept them under their hats
All they revealed in Dec 2021 was, a Northern Site near Dili has been recommended
(vice the original co-location down South)
Posted the other day some details of the site now identified as being at Metinaro on
the Northern coast , right of Dili about mid distance between it and Manatuto
LPG , LNG and more to be developed at that site and in the SEZ , special economic zone
of Occusse also in the North.........GLA
;))
That is what we all hope, they finally come to their senses after 20+
years of stranded gas, at 3 huge reservoirs on trend with many, many
large discoveries in the OZ and Indonesian Timor Sea area's, while
their own region remains , mostly unexplored, so little doubt more
will be found.........
;))
scrolled and sent itself lol
Last week the Island DROPPED the name project TASI MANE, a new department for
Infrastructure planning and development , now in place, in the brief details Doug
and I found, it states the Northern petroleum facilities , which include an LNG tank
farm are going ahead.
In Parliament , they stated wanted all 3 power stations converted from Diesel to GAS
by 2025 (a while ago) 2 of those are much nearer the new proposed 2021 studies for
a Northern Gas/LNG import facility, to supply them....
In the budget just released, they have Infrastructure hike of over 1 billion in 2024
and high until 2027, Beaco etc would be many billions and they cannot afford that
themselves.
Hence the threats to OZ , they will go to China , have asked USA for help etc etc
Brings us back to Chuditch, if that supply is needed 2025/2026, WHO is going to
provide it, forget Barons usual snail paced time scales, if a big player returns
they could throw many wells down quickly to do it.
Chuditch , is the only game in town currently in a position to move forward as speed
and if they do not use local gas, they will defeat the objective of saving money, by
paying for more expensive imports........
As keep saying , they could do worse than , once more showcase SundaGas , to show
they are really back open for business, with another dog and pony show, this time
announcing , PERMIT to SG and the domestic contract to boot..........GLA
:))))))))))
