RE: RNS3 Sep 2021 13:35
Hexam - 'HGN - You've said you "agree at selling some BTC at good prices" - so isn't that enough for you as maybe that is all they are doing? Just like a prudent shareholder maybe they are simply top-slicing to take advantage of high prices rather than spending the proceeds immediately?'
i can only go by what was said and it was stated that the money was to balance the portfolio, there spent/earmarked already.
'I'd much rather they did that than hold all the BTC forever - that would be like a gambler in a casino never cashing in any chips when he's winning.'
i agree in spending limited amounts of BTC depending on its use. As the other side is 48k looks good today but may look terrible at the end of the year if BTC goes higher or very good if BTC goes lower.
Hence what is the money for? i would have thought that simple question is something all shareholders should be considering.
'your real question seems to be what are they spending £2m on? Do you really want to know where they spend every £1m when they spend it? That is some serious micro analysis.'
This company has been hodling every single BTC for some time now, now we get an Rns that states they have sold 61 BTC. The purpose of the video was to explain the RNS was it not, a video that states it is for balancing portfolio, with no further explanation. not much of an explanation.
So why the change, why now selling BTC, is it a one off, or will it be more fequent?
Say the money was used to prop up a losing investment or it was used for working capital, depending on which one it was for then value of the amount begins to matter and your opinion is like to be different also, so yes easy to say only 2mil, but not if it is wasted. hope that makes sense.
