The initial reports suggested an increase in issues with toddlers (10% was the figure linked to infection/hospitalisation). Has anyone seen any follow up on this? I’m aware that the likely reason for children being less susceptible to the more severe symptoms is due to a heightened initial interferon response compared to infected adults. If Omicron is potentially subduing this in children then it opens up a whole new nightmare. I have two young children and also work in education and one significant area of relief in the early days was that they weren’t at particular risk. Does anyone have any insight?

It’s not a blockbuster yet, the last chapter has yet to be written and is usually left open in sporting autobiographies until that final event. I’m hopeful that Martin Johnson and RM are on the same page, maybe he can play him in the film..or Our Johnny.

Indeed and also that mutations detected in the analysis are not necessarily attributable to the drug as they are also seen in the placebo groups. Just seems a bridge too far at the moment. Let’s ask those Blue rats what they think.
Your boat is clearly being pushed out M, I hope also to be able to add a little homemade nettle cordial to the white spirit in the shed this year but still a bit to do. A seemingly unique opportunity created by a perfect storm. I have become heavily invested and Invested in a way I never anticipated.I cannot begin to imagine doing all this again, my first and last big play although I have learnt a great deal over the last 11 months.
I think most on here agree that the SP has been a little bizarre since Activ P2/P3 news with most gains have been wiped out very quickly. Come Monday the usual pattern is gains taken out and then a slight recovery pm. Again, it’s all immaterial re top line, although any news could drop at anytime, but who on God’s Earth ( or whoever's) is going to be selling this on Monday morning???!! However nothing will surprise me, or indeed most on here, by now.
Agreed WF. Scientists ramped up the rhetoric of risk probably based on the new psychology around lack of concern. PM reiterated how they are taking effective measures rapidly but it’s already too late. Easy to ban southern African flights as its minimal impact politically and economically but the fact that this variant is now all over Europe, hundreds of thousands decamping off flights from Southern Africa over the last few months, yet a whimper of a suggestion to perhaps wear a mask. They appear to have learnt very little, Whitney and Vallence appear to have grasped the significance. The sooner we find out about SNG and it’s on the shelves the better, I want to know it’s available to me and those around me.
RE: Excellent article where SNG001 is the BIG future treatment.25 Nov 2021 20:49
I love a trip to Wuhan, great ingredients..HMF. Yes in that SNG stimulates the natural defence and therefore creates natural antibodies that the virus initially suppressed/bypassed. So in 6 months it would be as useful as the current vaccines but an expensive alternative. However, in 6 months it could be re-administered to fight a new variant that a vaccine was not valid against and allow the body to stimulate its own response again, where the vaccine is left redundant.
I’m with you Kiwi. So much going on and so much at stake for so many on here, all compressed into a few months after a long wait. It is going to get very tense and this is an outlet...use it wisely. Good luck and be nice is great advice, we’re all going to go a little bonkas between now and January.
RE: Expected 500% increase on publication of results!19 Nov 2021 17:38
Agreed Skippy. We are all going to need a tablet or two and most agree it’s not Merck’s. So must to consider, digest, hope for, think about and done mind-blowing numbers involved with big pageant and here we are in an oasis of hope, waiting for a tsunami of some kind. As TL eloquently pointed out earlier, something has to give soon but in the meantime all we have is each other!
RE: Lack of communication is a disgrace19 Nov 2021 09:27
The big picture has already been painted but sadly the painter and visionary is no longer here. It is a small outfit and I imagine they are just dealing with the day to day and keeping ticking over in exceptional circumstances . The gold has been there for millions of years, it will still be there in a few weeks even without updates. If there is news that’s of value I’m sure it will be passed on but in the meantime the fundamentals haven’t changed and with respect to new appointments, if they want the right person it should take months. Most on here realise it’s a long game and any assays and licensing news will be forthcoming when available and it’s these that will be positive on the sp as was always the case. I, like everyone, want that positive RNS to drop but those battling at the moment can only provide it when there is something to provide. It will come.
RE: When is your individual exit point?18 Nov 2021 08:18
Almost identical to my dream scenario Kev. Sell 75% in q3 22 with a view to a buy to let and home improvements @ £12-15 and leave the rest to see what happens. Activ 2 P3 will bring a whole raft of new data although I appreciate Sprinter is key there is so much to potentially look forward to. It’s nice to dream but at least we are currently in a position to think that the dream really could become reality. Here’s to replacing shares with bricks.
