Happyhead yes I was the same with the regular increase in dividends,was happy to buy in at any price,but the boe pra stopped all that for me,pulling that 2019 dividends has changed my thinking, I'm averaging 43p now and holding not adding over 40p anymore, bod need to have control, as outside meddlers have undermined there integrity, imho dyor enjoy the day.

Thanks Brixton I think the Gov don't want any small time landlords anywhere they just want a spattering of big boys around such as Lloyd's etc much easier and cheaper for them to handle and keep control of imho dyor.

Some people on here say Lloyd's are under valued, ok then at what price do you think they will be over valued, the market say today's value is 49p with 71b shares each penny added will increase the resistance, unless there is unlimited funds available for people to keep adding and holding,I don't think this is the case I think it's mostly traders looking for quick profits ,can't see the big money coming on here now until the last minute next year,so it's a rollercoaster in my eyes short boughts of up and downs with weeks in the doldrums, enjoy your evening and if your traveling bon voyage,dyor.

Xwave can you tell me from where did you dig up 5x.5 = 2.5 from when I clearly said when the sp was 25p,do you even understand 1 for 5 consolidation is, it would divide the share in issue by five instead of 71b .dyor

Xwave 10 what an a***** you are,I said,when the so was 25p they could of done a 1for five share consolidation,that means,1share at £1.25p for five of your shares,you need a brain scan my friend,don't be long seeking help,dyor.

Just to put my penny worth in here,I would of been happy if the bod had done a 1for5 consolidation at 25p what a chance they missed,to reduce the confetti can someone explain why they chose not to,lloyd would be looking good now for sure ,imho dyor.

Gordon 123 hope your feeling better this PM,remember Lloyd's market capital is 35billion that's a strong value,so long as they can keep building on there assets and incomes, there no reason why Lloyd's sp should not carry a premium 72p could be possibly at sometime, so all is not so bad here like most think on here it's just a matter of time,best wishes and good luck to you,I've been a long time now with Lloyd's rode there ups and downs,not buying over 40p at the moment but that's just me,holding a good size still and hopeful now for better days,dyor.

By the time the cream has been skimmed off,the dividends will be meager scratching for the ever hopeful, that will keep the share low and tempting for future hopeful ,round and round goes the great big wheel in and out goes , , life goes on have a great day,dyor.

A lot can happen in the next 3months,not holding above 50 on these results is speaking loud and clear it's a traders dream ,but a long drag on investors,other comp could offer a return between now and then for investor so I'm expecting some profit taking ,47.85 may end the week imho dyor enjoy the day.

Next year look out for big beer bellies,but less red noses ,hospital beds will need strengthening as people gain weight are well swings and roundabouts happy xmas coming up clanging beer bottles will see in the new year,happy days.

You are comparing comp with 5 or 7 billion in issue to a comp with 71billion in issue,so don't expect the same volume ,should be moving 300 to 500 million to hold a decent speed,imho,dyor.
