Burnley. Agreed. I’d rather be unpopular and correct, than popular and wrong. Especially when shares and money are concerned. As far as Syme is concerned, since the .7p days I would consider myself unpopular, but so be it.
On the contrary. I also saw the appointment of JC as a positive for the company. A proper ‘business’ individual who could command AZ’s enthusiasm. To be fair, I have never seen SYME’s IM USP as being profitable/legitimate since I sold. And still nothing I see convinces me different.. I as a bear believe JC came in on enthusiasm, looked, didnt like what he saw and got out. Just an opinion, but yet to see a better explanation.
Well, I suggest you spend a little research time and catch up before commenting!!
Ex stated;
.."Jim Coyle also resigned from Scottish Water in March - see companies house for details..."
You forgot to mention that it was 2 x companies, at quarter's end (March 31), and after 5 years as a NED (not Chair) ie likely 'by rotation'.
Yawwwnnn. Have explained this countless times. Suggest you do your research Burnley. Oops, sorry, I know you’re not good at that, but it’s about time you started. Could save you money in the Long run….
Burnley “ But I will not discuss the company because that would be giving you and others of your disposition oxygen to present a one sided negative word salad of misinformation.”
I would suggest that any in depth discussion of this company would lead most ‘sane’ people to the conclusion that at Best, a failed company in which the founders in the goodness of their hearts, sold off all their shares allowing good old PI’s to buy all their golden tickets from them, just because they are lovely philanthropic giving people, is a great investment. But wtf do i know??
Yep. And news came in today. Your point is?
It seems that debate isn’t your strong point. Maybe you should take lessons from thick2 and just tell me to f*** off. At least in that way we would all understand what your on about!!
Burnley. Daily basis. Been busy all day and most of the weekend, so your evidence is?.
The difference between the bulls and the bears on SYME is very little. We both have access to the same information, its just the way we interpret it that makes the difference. I’ve never seen SC as a great asset to the board while the bulls do/did. Now she’s gone, the Bulls seem to see her in the same light as I always did. Funny old world ain’t it.
Exactly Gotham. Your evidence TJ/TB/SC have run profit making businesses is? We all know the academic’s who teach in school/university’s but never made a penny in their lives. Lovely people, terrible business partners.
On the contrary Burnley. I think you’ll find that I do take a sabbatical until I’m invited back onto the board (thanks GM etc) and/or news lands. Don’t know if you noticed but news landed today. Just got a chance to uncode it, and this is my take. An IMO type of post. Yours to put up a counter argument I would suggest. Or attack the poster, the choice is yours..
Oi oi. Had a look on the board today and slightly confused. Most of the bears, like myself have been saying for a few years that Christi is/was a lightweight appointment, so the fact she’s now gone doesn’t to me, make a lot of difference, hence the small drop in shareprice. The Bull’s have always built her up to be an industry expert and fantastic addition. She appears to be an academic with little business nouse having written lots of books and papers on supply trade, but never walked the walk. I and others have also been saying the same about Tom James and Tony Brown (remember him).
I think the saying goes ‘In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they’re not’.
Anyways, I expect the normal abuse, and then to be accused of giving it, but hey ho, its all part of the rich tapestry of life. X
