Never play about with money you. Been there done that causes all sorts of horrible decisions to be made. I am at peace with money sitting knowing it is needed for something even if I'm sure a stock will go up from this level. All it takes is for a few weeks of irrational behaviour then you finding a car repair comes up or something...

OMI board have a thing going to try and go and spread OMI to every board they can. However if you bought in when they ramped earlier, with ridiculous spread (more than this share is losing in a day!) then you'd be worse off than the loss here today.

Yes I know people will pile in but I'm just saying its human nature to hold out which compounds the problem on the way down. On the way up it compounds the gains also so double edged sword.

Yup every one of my top ups is a long way away percentage wise now and that was bought on the way up on the same info we have now... weird times. But yes the day the ETFs dump a whole load in rebalances it will be horrendous. Company needs to do something as if they want to build shareholder value they're actually just watching it get wiped out to rebuild it to where they were with any positive news in the future!!

Yes this is part of the problem when shares fall every day no one wants to buy as they think "what if"... what if it is lower tomorrow, or next week. Then it compounds the problem.

To be fair student, many companies have broker notes which have a SP nowhere near their target price. AFC energy for example has one at 192 and share price is 66p... Many companies also have assets which are valued more than the company (Centamin for example). Just need to be patient and realise that broker target prices aren't always met or always met within a few weeks of them giving it out...

I agree but then we didn't get one the last time it was dropping over a couple of days for no reason. That 18% down day was a fun one to live through.

They don't have to hunt with the odd percent move here or there. they could get all they wanted in one foul swoop but taking it 20% down in a day like they've done before just to bring it back up.

It is horrible treatment for its users. I can't buy shares here until they return the money - and from the sounds of other shareholders I'm only getting 10% max if i'm lucky of what I put in for - so a lot to spend just hope price doesn't go too far in that time!
