@obelix - to answer your question, I posted this a week or so ago:
"I have always said I believe the algorithm and quantum technology could be the most important factor here rather than the *physical* mining.
QBT are not going to match up to ARB on physical mining, rigs and data centres anytime soon but the actual speed at which they *could* mine is something that every single miner and blockchain company in the world will be looking at.
I think the last paragraph here sums that up "research...that can be exploited with the right partner."
A company like Argo will simply not be able to ignore the potential power and speed of quantum mining. FG knows that, and everyone will be knocking on his door soon wanting a piece of that secret algorithm.
Working on the very cutting edge of science and technology
Focused on quantum computing and blockchain
Developing an R&D team with scientists from UCL and Milan"
Fantastic announcement this morning with Harry Maguire onboard, captain of one of the biggest/most supported clubs in the world, his reach is huge!
Sold up some SPAC shares I had this morning to put more into QBT and average up.
Seemed like a no-brainer ahead of settlement next week and news on the way about suppliers and signed contracts.
@aidxN - repost from a recent post:
For anyone new over the last few days:
- AGM to approve new strategy TODAY
- Name change to Quantum Blockchain Technologies on the way
- Potential MAIN MARKET listing and dual listing on the way
- Court settlement due 26th May to receive circa €10m
In a years time I'm going to enjoy thinking about some company I invested in called Clear Leisure at 2p which turned into the world leading £2 Quantum Blockchain.
If as their research suggests so far their algorithm and quantum computing power will be at the pinnacle of crypto mining and blockchain technology used by every institution across the world.
Everyone is going to want a piece of it, I wouldn't put it past someone like Argo to want a stake in Quantum or (whisper it) even a takeover...
Interview summary with the Director, Professor Gardin:
1. New strategy to focus on what the company does best, focussing on deep and complex technology
2. Technical skills on board to address the game changing Quantum computing technology
3. Will continue to push limit of existing computing and the design of new chips
4. They have ACCESS TO THE ONLY EXISTING QUANTUM COMPUTER AVAILABLE and their new software will be developed on it
5. In the process of setting up a team of the best experts they have access to internationally in the sectors of Quantum Computing, Crypto Currencies and AI.
6. Company to be involved in investment and R&D of blockchain and crypto currencies.
7. Looking to be faster and smarter than competitors in mining and blockchain technologies
8. Best R&D specialist and Quantum Physics professor on board
9. Professor Francesco Gardin believes company has huge opportunities and has options at 5p+ to back that up.

A little reminder...nothing has changed here except for some stupid Elon tweet and a general red week on every market across the board.

Added 100k this morning off the back of more research.
"I am confident that FG will make inroads to solving Quantum Computing with the team (soon to be announced via an RNS and not a video) #ARB and their team especially P W will have to collaborate with #QBT like they are also doing with other companies. RKB"

Our strategy is one where we will deliver intermediate results that are very attractive not only for our own use but might also be useful for other companies too. So, some of our research will be medium- and long-term. Other parts of our research will be short-term that can be exploited with the right partner.
