I'm sure Portliner has thought about this

Of course that will be offset at least somewhat but increased lithium mining operations. But will that satisfy demand on the long term?
But your point has not passed the Chinese (Gangfeng etc) who are buying up Bacanora and other lithium deposits.
LB21 When you look at the size of the applications in the UK pipeline for BESS is somewhere between 10-15GW and at this moment in time 99.9% of these will be Lithium Ion which as we know has problems but is currently the de facto choice by necessity. It gives you an indication of the size of the BESS market in the UK alone.
So Disgruntled what has FAR achieved so far? Nothing.
They have a long way to and a huge amount of fund raising to do, they are years away from any meaningful production. But if you think they are doing better why don't you sell up and buy FAR instead?
You have had that hope since February this year. God know why you ever invested in the first place, you were talking about jam tomorrow before you had even invested. Quote:-
"First time poster on BVM and see that its quite a lively BB, although currently voicing SP concerns. I am taken by the vanadium market, especially V-Flow batteries for storage and their ability to take virtually unlimited charge cycles. I have done a lot of general research re vanadium market pre investment. I see that Everaz / Largo / VONE and Bushveld get regular coverage although most positive is Largo listed on CAN exchange. I wouldnt go with Everaz as its Russian listed (i think?). I fancied BVM as its UK AIM listed, however when looking into the fundamentals for 2020 they seem shocking reading. As I see it, its a co. with market cap of approx £205M with a revenue of approx £82M. Shares have fallen steadily since mid 2018 high circa 50p. With vanadium price increasing strongly what is it about BVM which doesnt seem to strengthen the SP?. So, can anyone give me a decent BVM overview/history and why I should jump in? Without wishing to offend anyone, I see the same "jam tomorrow" statements on many other BB's in the mining sector. Anyone willing to give me a steer??"
So please stop being so disingenuous with your posts
Here is an application from May 2021. 52 double stacked batteries on mention of the capacity you have to count them from the site plan.

The big problem in this country at the moment is the lack if oversight on all these BESS (99.9% Lithium) the HSE and Environmental Agency have no say and are not interested, the applicants these days make no mention of the size and scope of the BESS installations (apart from 1 or 2 of the bigger players eg Scottish Power) when it is going through planning.
The whole system is a free for all, its like the klondyke out there at the moment.
There are almost 15GW op applications either going through the system or operational (and the operational ones probably add up to less than 500MW.
Moe don't you believe it, there are plenty of stacked batteries in the pipeline at the moment and they have to be presumed Lithium since at this moment in time there isn't much option.
