House of Saud need to tread VERY carefully, especially with President Trump in office and the current crisis tearing world finances apart at the moment, things are fragile and will get worse in the next few months.

the US have threatened to remove the patriot missile systems that protect the Saudis. This is due to the price war that they instigated.
The Saudis have also had to increase their VAT to 30% recently so they are indeed feeling the pinch.
IMO they need to feel the pinch a bit more in order to change their attitude otherwise nothing will change.

I'm sure the 60% take great solace in knowing that the directors awarded themselves $2M + only 6 days later and also wrote into the deal that they could not lose their job if the rest wanted their bonus.

That $2m could have given the company a technical advantage to start operation earlier by keeping useful people there instead of "incentivising " the useless and greedy.

But the JF has absolutely zero intention of attempting to try and push the company forward as is seen by his absolute failure to keep to ANY goals except exeeding the goals set for expenditure.
