RE: TSX14 Dec 2025 14:36
Completely agree Damers, but the market has merely dropped us nearly 10% based on the facts, and that's as Newmont and BHP have stated they're no longer interested and we're staring down the barrel of 28p for something thats with worth far more to someone who has the capability and financial resources to build it.
I take heart from the fact that NM is pi55ed and the board are looking to get an auction going, but as things stand there are only 10-20 companies on the planet capable of taking this project on, and as things stand, none of them have come forward.
I sincerely hope another suitor comes forwards and will be really surprised if they don't, but as Fort is eluding, right now the chinks have got this sown up and we've effectively handed it to them on a plate thanks to bargain basement shares and pi55ing previous suitors off... for now at least.
Like Damers says though, we've got an indicated offer of 28p, but there's plenty of the 90 minutes still to play.
The major positive for us though is that current and future metals markets look extremely positive and Ecuador thanks to Nobby is looking more positive then it has for years for foreign investment. Time to sit tight and hope for the best.
On a slightly lighter note, off to the Stamford for Dinner with friends and a couple of jars Damers. Best of luck all. C
