I see that the market this time didn't buy the ST write-up. SP is still falling. Crying wolf once too many times on this "cusp of greatness" line.

If Joe Biden announced they were putting a £1 Tillion order, it wouldn't budge the share price. In fact it will probably go down as Basu has primed the market to expect a rights issue after good news on the "we need more money to ramp up" line.

I cannot believe how this company treats it's shareholders. They have no shame wiping out small shareholders and giving stock away for a pittance to institutional Investors. It smells really bad, like a backroom deal. In any case, as mentioned before, they will be back to dilute again in 18 months time. Basu is a total idiot and a scientist, he loves being in the lab and playing about with new toys like the COVID detector, which he couldn't even sell one even though we have had a global pandemic. He is totally happy just applying for grants and raising money. I guess he is too used to academia. He seems to have a complete contempt for shareholders.

Anyway, I'm out. I'm sick of following this company. I don't care if the share price rockets afterwards. I'm just sick of Basu

Bad news for a company doesn't fix itself overnight. I can't see how this is going to be fixed anytime soon. The report basically attacked their whole business model. I thought a gas well was some massive rig system ... Not a old pipe sticking out in a Forrest or someone's field.

If you stay in your going be checking every single pip movement and get totally and utterly stressed to the max. I've done that before and stayed in the bitter end. E.g. RBS.

those are my top three expected new announcements.

An interesting theory of mine is that I don't think Kromek are quite there yet in terms of accuracy with the detector. If you look at this current job posting:

It tells me that the results the machine is producing still isn't quite there yet. It needs more work to clean up the results or figure out a better algorithm in order to interpret the massive amount of raw data of random DNA that is being sequenced in the air sample. That's my theory. so basically, more work needs to be done. Don't expect anything soon as this job is still live lol.

I've sold. The interim update of "in line with market expectations and slightly better cash" is really bad. Market expectations is that Kromek won't turn a profit for another 3 years. And slightly better cash means "we haven't squandered your money as fast as before".
You would make money shorting this stock.

I understand Smith's group has a detector. Why hasn't their SP gone sky high? I don't understand. If this detector thing is supposed to be in so much demand then I would have thought that it would have pushed up the price of Smith's group. Is the kromek one supposed to be better?
