thoughts on this evaluation ^^?
when are people topping up? hard to get a chance
GRL has revenue coming in the next few months, huge difference to ggp imo
how much are you holding?
we've broken the 5 year high, and the high from the 11th June, no resistance from here
The share has only recently been re-listed, and also i think the gold price has pushed investors to do some research about smaller miners maybe..
As the big gold mines will benefit from a rise in gold price first, and then it trickles down to the juniors which is what we are probably seeing here
50p when? and how is it still cheaper than ggp at 50p
I think since grl is a near term producer makes more sense to put your money in being so undervalued.
Question is, how high will this go? And is it best to top up now or wait and see if we get an opportunity later
no worries speedy, im in GGP but moving some profits into GRL, just because with a gold price like this am undervalued producer like GRL in a gold bull run seems more sensible
Hoping i get a chance to top up tomorrow
Meant to say December 2020**
Hi Speedy,
Ghana is a great spot, mining accounts for 5% of GDP, there has been a lot of mining in the Ashanti region, dating back to the 1890s. And has 23 mines in total, I think in 2014 there was some legislation to stop illegal gold mining (so good for the likes of GRL). Now, I think there are over 300 small scale mining groups.
I think its stable for the most part, but has issues with illegal mining that they are trying to solve. And is safer than a lot of other regions in Africa and has one of the fastest-growing economies.
AngloGold Ashanti’s Obuasi project, committed to reopening with a $500 million investment. So Ghana should be set up, especially with the gold bull run, to grow further (higher taxation if these companies grow more etc).
There is an election in 2020, but, production is meant to start before then
Hope this helps
In both ATM, but got in GGP slightly later, and my gold portfolio is tilted to GGP. I can see the potential upside here a lot greater! Thanks for the advice!
Im wondering if its worth tilting to GRL over GGP, since GRL is close to production with incredible gold prices.. where as ggp still in the exploration phase
opinions on the RNs?
They won't be an easy target. I doubt the directors will sell this one off without seeing great profits
