My day off today.. went to horeshill for a look...told 3 x oil tankers left yesterday. ..flare IS working..tho I couldn't see it..adrian was not outside..so presumably he's busy working..earning a living.. cant always be watching and even when eyes see tankers they get slated for seeing them

Dont think anyone is tanker spotting as they used to.. im not there as working Tony pete rarely go there and jr busy so that leaves adrian / foth / dave the drill it whatever name he's using at the time.

I see there's a lot of positive posters this morning...

Do they sort the small packets that normally come from China with the smallest type writing that you can bearly see.. think machines may be good for larger packets but the small stuff will still be hand sorted in the office... must be 10 years or so a go management got fired up about walk sorting machines.. we still sort letter and flats as only a certain size and shape go through machines.. so again probably a waste of money because of maintenance and training computer inputs etc

Parcel sorting machines.. parcels are taken by hand from post office in a sack and put into a van by postman.. postman take sack to office... sack gets put in a York for later pick up .. lorry driver puts yorks into lorry and takes to mail center.. gets unloaded pushed to where it needs to go... what happens next with a sorting machine? How do parcels get on/ into machine? Where do parcels end up? Another york or bin? Then put somewhere else etc. Will the machines actually save money ? Still going to need lots of people to work it and in the office to receive and distribute parcels to the different walks also who programmes and looks after them ..what about power cuts? I dont think the modernisation in royal mail has saved any time over the last 21 years I've worked for them... just think is something to show off about...

To all you informed oil experts with degrees in physcology... why do you think ukog would drill for oil ? Obviously to produce oil... some think they drill to miss so they can raise more money... ridiculous...if all the wells drilled all came in there would be a lot of wealthy share holders.... but they dont always come in as we all planned and you all seem to know that was the plan from the start ... every well is a gamble, it was always going to be difficult in the weald. Hopefully horsehill hh1 will be bk pumping soon... Turkey will be a totally different game to drilling in the UK..

Flare on 21st oct after workover was going well, then was shut in, I believe for pbu to enable a new cpr to be done.. hopefully to be out before Christmas along with new optomised oil flow rate and news of drilling in Turkey....imo

Dave the drill reports no tanker trickery today...oh dear he was so sure the tanker trick was happening he probably sat there all morning
