I don't use google but Im sure HL have changed their pricing, seems to be less accurate lately, showing shares up 5% when they are still below the close price of day before etc. Some others show latest trade so price can jump up or down depending if its a sale or buy, wish they would use mid price it really screws your portfolio and watchlist prices esp. on wide spreads. Yes 10p spread on Trak.
The company is being sold off, its not going forward, thats why they had to fix the pension but its being broken up now, not sold as a whole company. Actually its looking good value now but much depends on demand, which may not be great, similar company entu are having problems. I think some investors are put off by the possible long drawn out process. One to watch.
get out and find one that is not. That statement is very poor does not tell you anything apart the management don't know what they are doing. How can you value items if you can't sell them? I would find a safer Home for your money.
"The Placing is conditional, inter alia, upon the placing agreement not having been terminated, and admission of the Placing shares having occurred by no later than 30 December 2015 (or such time and date as the Company and finnCap may agree, being not later than 29 January 2016)." I take it the shares have not been placed yet?
The only problem with stop losses I have found is market makers can shake you out and you sell at or near the bottom only to see the share price bounce back without you, happened to me a few times so I only use them sparingly now. I don't subscribe to IC anymore but if I did I would be using stop losses on most of their tips.
Yes good move I wish I had done the same. I think you should put stop losses on all Simon's (IC) tips, some take off but some crash and you only want to be in the ones that fly? Anyway what is happening with ZYT? I presume its just profit taking after a good run?
Solid State quote "Following a similar exercise last November, we are once again delighted to be attracting interest from new institutional shareholders and to have the opportunity to satisfy that demand and thereby continue to increase the free market capital of the company." I bet they were well pleased.
Well it maybe true in this case but I'm not going to take the risk, I sold out about 10 days ago, the shares price seems to have lost momentum anyway and in this market I will take some profits. Another share I was in Solid State, directors sold a lot in July/August, sp was about 875p, end of October it fell to under 400p before recovering to about 600p. They used similar reasons for selling.
