AJW - not wishing to be awkward but how you do you get 16,000 BoO. RNS 25th Sept said 16az had produced in excess of 9,000 BoO at that time and the last known production rate was 51 bopd so I make that nearer 12,000 BoO. I don't mind if you prove me wrong!!

Francobrett - yes, that is probably what happened last time, if i remember correctly the SP rose from about 4p to 7p prior to the two RNS then spiked at about 8p & 9p on the Bago deal & W38 news and then fell back.

I am a bit surprised however that at the moment that the SP does not appear to be rising much in anticipation of the next RNS, hence why if the news is good I would anticipate a significant rise. (before anybody says it I know that is stating the obvious)

Your earlier comment, I think PH is waiting for the RNS to drop with the facts and figures, and then have a feeling we will see him back in front of the camera with a slightly more measured approach, but still very confident for the future.

Mal - thought the Dunkin Donuts franchise was a good idea, heard on the grapevine that the Rustavi workforce are expecting a substantial pay rise very shortly so more disposable income!!

At the moment the market does not know for sure if W38 is a success or a failure so the most important milestone is to get a positive result from W38 which would almost certainly give the share price a boost.

Even if the results were fairly modest, say 300 bopd + gas this would treble the companies last known combined flow rates from Rustavi / Norio and would make the company profitable with money over for future development.

I am no technical expert, but with all the additional technical expertise applied to W38 (since 16az) together with the additional length of horizontal slotted liner I am hoping that we could see results of say 600 bopd + gas.

Crystal ball gazing I know but I am working on the basis that the next RNS will be either "Good News" (300 bopd + gas) or "Very Good News" (600 bopd + gas).

Nice to see that the strongest swearword / insult this morning is "donuts". - makes a change.

Like it or not they are the facts, I am certainly optimistic that the next Amati update will be a lot more positive.

What is interesting is that Amati do not appear to have reduced their holding at any stage.

Could be a RNS for W38 flow rates as early as tomorrow, although AJW seems top think it may take a bit longer.
