I am not sure if you all realise that John Barker and " Roley Birkin" who used to post on this board are the same person - I thought some of you might find this post from RB from 11 August, 2023 to be of interest:
Stock bashing.
This scheme is usually orchestrated by online message board posters (a.k.a. "Bashers") who make up false and/or misleading information about the target company in an attempt to get shares for a cheaper price. This activity, in most cases, is conducted by posting libellous posts on multiple public forums...
JusticePillar has posted 418 messages on LSE - 418 posts solely on MOS - 100%
Guzzler has posted over 7,900 messages on LSE - 5,000 plus on MOS
Lothbury has posted 157 messages on LSE - 157 posts solely on MOS - 100%
Systemicbods has posted 217 messages on LSE - 217 posts solely on MOS - 100%
Lostmoney has posted 429 messages on LSE - 429 posts on MOS - 100%
Is this an orchestrated event and what may the implications be if so?
Good information Avi8R
"The report stated Georgia's gas reserves amount to 5.7 trillion m3 and went on to refer to Block Energy mining a large oil and gas field 30 km from Tbilisi using horizontal wells."
Re-assuring that Block are being specifically mentioned in TV news items.
I reckon that the reason for stopping the Quarterly Operation updates could very well be the same reason they stopped the Project 1 drilling campaign, i.e the WR34 flow rates were less than expected and could well have diminished further shortly after the reported flow rates.
That said, no matter what your views are on PH you have to now let the Farm Out marketing campaign run its course. I agree with MgBRG96 that the company have done an excellent job in packaging up the various projects and putting them in the shop window but I still think the various stages of the farm out process and negotiations will take a considerable amount of time. For reasons put forward by Bobbby and others I think an offer for the company is a definite possibility. which of course could happen at any time.
With such a short drill length and armed with all the information that has been learnt to date I see the risk of failure as very low. 900 bopd would be fantastic but I could live with 600 bopd.
As part of the 2022-2024 gasification plan approved by the Government, construction works necessary for the gasification of 35 settlements in Adjara will give 3 696 potential subscribers the opportunity to join the common natural gas network. It should be noted that within the framework of the large-scale gasification project of the regions of Georgia, in 2019-2021, over 80 000 families were given the opportunity to be connected to the natural gas supply network. During the works to be carried out in accordance with the three-year plan, up to 40 000 more families will receive access to the natural gas supply. By 2024, it is expected that 93% Georgia’s population will be included in the natural gas supply network.
TLH1 - The figure is mentioned by PH in the recent "Investor meets Company" Q & A when he discusses how the company is to be compensated for past costs, but if I heard correctly he does NOT say it will be an upfront payment, so as you say, I think wishful thinking.
Mrnaddy100 - several posters have voiced similar views and I would not disagree.
Block have made a good job of packaging up the various Projects so far but they have now more or less gone as far as they can without outside help. Project 3 in particular is going to need deep. deep pockets and much expertise for several years to come before producing any revenue. It is possible there may not be any takers for a farm out on Blocks terms whereas a complete takeover for a few million more could be a much more attractive proposition to entice someone in.
