Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
BBC is quoting that Delhi saw demand at 8700MW and Northern India as a whole at 89,000MW this week as the areas grapple with soaring A/C demand due to temperatures of 45C +.
Great - with a bit of luck the 'Lardies' will get on and do something rather than siting on their hands doing nothing. This lack of inactivity is worrying with July around the corner and various festivities in the offing. It is possible Hasina will make some sort of announcement in the next few weeks but as she detests the Phulbari option, why should she do anything ....they can wait.
....No Aisian holiday - let's have Asian or Asean...........or even better - Dreadlock Holiday
From Searcher's article.....that is one helluva lot of coal @ one million tonnes per month and would leave the Bunglas vulnerable to 'hey diddle diddles' or great opportunities to join in - take your pick. The initial conditions of the tender required that the contractor company must have experience of importing at least 12 million tonnes of coal, which is a relevant condition for tenders related to importing coal.
.........stop draggin', stop draggin' , stop draggin' that heart around......

....dear me, very dear me and it will mean towing the rig down to Singapore for repair.
Half empty LNG tanker and Bangla workman waving his oxy acetylene welding torch around - - sounds very dodgy to me............luv it
Strange goings on by the new posters ...Big push north, now is that Oliver Cromwell or the king, Charles 1. heading for Marston Moor.
Its like Butch Cassidy when Redford looks back at the chasing posse
and says 'who are these guys - same thoughts today........who are these guys.?
......in northern India. That's hot and just think about how much electricity (MW) the air-con systems will be using. That may add some substance to the rumour that Adani were diverting leccy away from their customers to utilise themselves. With a bit of luck they will divert all the Bungla power away and leave Hasina 'high and dry' and scratching around for any fuel / power she can get. Luvvly Jubbly - They need to start a new work ethic which involves getting their hands dirty, not simply pushing bits of paper between various departments.
And there was me thinking it might be the Monty Python 'Comfy Chair'. You are right Bangla, too much time is wasted on these BBs..... good if you want a laugh though.
Daisy, as I stated earlier, nothing has happened.
Has Hasina signed off the project - Nope.
Has the township of Phulbari been started - Nope
Has the old site been cleared in preparation for mining to commence - Nope
Now put me on filter - hahaha or whatever you do to non-believers.
Phulbari mine- she doesn't want to pay for it, she doesn't want to activate it by signing it off;
She wants the least hassle by doing nothing and borrowing cash against future tax revenues.
It's June next week - JUNE............ NOTHING HAS HAPPENED for six months........
.....high-yield debt, dodgy finances and non-performing loans @ 30% interest - all sounds like the junk bond issuers & buyers will be checking their slide rules...........oh yes, and what about the 40,000 tonnes of coal needed on a daily basis...........luvvly jubbly.......
That suicide is dangerous it brings on many changes and I can take or leave it if I please...........
The game of life is hard to play, I'm going to lose it anyway, the losing card I'll someday lay, so this is all I have to say............suicide is painless.
Great song, Theme from Mash c. 1970
....ha ha ha WasNotWas isn't a pundit - he made a catchy record with Kim & Ozzy, that's all. As for Phulbari - $13.5 billion should get it up and running the Chinese way......come to think of it, wasn't that China Crisis who sang that.
By1973 - I (personally) think in terms of 100p because it is a 'do-able' figure. If Summit or other interested parties were hovering, maybe higher would be possible.
Hasina's mindset is that the coal is Bunglas and it should be at nil cost to the state.
We are at 6p with fighting intensifying in the Ukraine, we need the oil price to move more quickly and frighten the Bungla cabinet into action and the fx to drop through the floor.
....good article and tightens the screws on the small independent generators ...... she needs to 'crack the whip'
and get on with the task, it will be June 2024 before, we know it.
...getting a bit rattled - whilst I admire your enthusiasm for the project, I think you are getting a bit ahead of yourself trying to tell Hasina what she should do and what she should say.
The numbers are going awry too, with 6000MGW being generated at a cost of £13,7 billion not $100 billion - that would be one very expensive plant.
....she is stalling as usual and spinning out the idea that Bangladesh should wait before committing to a project. She has neither the drive or skill to manage a project of this scale so she is looking at any excuse to delay Phulbari.
The good news is that she is up to her elbows in debt and as we saw earlier, wiggle room is diminishing fast
80 - 100p and out - I think that is the sentiment of many shareholders. Tired of incompetent, corrupt leadership and three years at least before we are extracting the coal, a fair offer around 100p would see most heading for the door. Our biggest challenge is the 'double-act' in Dhaka, they seem unable to do anything constructive, just borrow more money, run up more debt and tell everyone . Yeah, it's all fine, we've got a grip on the situation, where do we sign.'.....
...hahaha doze - excellent choice -' you thieving bastard,' .........did you see the bag of coal on the sideboard, t was marked 'Product of Bangladesh:,,,,,,, hahaha
.... Bangla - are you not a fan of Harry & Paul - the 'hey diddle diddle' is part of their culture' and stealing their own coal makes me laugh even now, just thinking about it...........
