I believe Jet2 are considering to join the bidding, as they can have more flight slots, pick best parts of EZJ and sell the unwanted part of the company to many other interested parties. Also getting a competing airline at a bargain price. I am sure they do not want a smaller version of EZJ to be competing with them if Castlelake buys EZJ. The problems in the Persian Gulf are far too small to affect the outcome of any offer. We may see an increase in oil prices for a short period of time, but oil prices will drop again to around $65 per barrel. Bear in mind EZJ do hedge their jet fuel. Therefore no panic for selling the shares and I am here till the end.

Jet2 may join bidding as they may look at it as a potential and profitable situation to expand their company. I am sure it must a tempting situation for Jet2 and other institutions to grab a bargain.

Lots of institutions which hold short positions , they also hold long positions via their parent company and in a way hedge their short positions, in order to manipulate the market as you all know. Their purpose is to get the actual shares as cheap as possible and also increase their voting rights. We all seen the share price pattern over the last few weeks and it is obvious that panic is created to control people’s mind. I did mention a while ago that the isolated incidents in the Persian Gulf was localised and purely to satisfy the domestic audiences, but some commentators made it to such a big news to bring the share price down.

The institutions predictions for oil price is €60 per barrel, future for EZJ looks extremely bright disregard of any offer, as it is a unique airline.

Lots of stop losses are triggered and some investors are happy to sell with some profits. Also short holders are doing their best to buy back and close their positions and we shall see lots of share price manipulation. But the good things come to those who wait. We may also see another bidder appearing from somewhere knowing that Castlelake’s offer is £6.90 after going through EZJ books and therefore I believe we may see better days ahead.

With the dropping oil prices and long term lower prices, it has direct effect on the profitability of EZ, which Castlelake take into account for submitting their final offer.

When they offered their first offer, oil prices were much higher. Disregard of any offer, the future is bright for EZ .

I believe thete are three situations to consider, firstly if there is an extension to the deadline of 5 pm on Sunday, then it sounds extremely promising, as there are detailed and comprehensive talks going on and most likely there be a final deal well over the previous offers.

Secondly, we get a final offer by end of today or by 5 pm Sunday.

I am not considering the third option , which is Castlelake walking away , bear in mind thete are lots of assets in EZ and they know they can break up the company and sell different parts with massive profits. Castlelake have massive funds available to finance the deal.

I am not here to be rude nor disrespectful to anyone, and I only predict £8.25 since the take over talk started. If others are short position holders and disagree with my prediction, I know where it hurts them

I think institutions holding short positions have successfully manipulated the kept the share price down over the last few days and managed to cook their books and reduce their short positions. Now we are going to see only upwards share price. Only one more trading day till the deadline of 5 July 2026.

Castlelake will go even up to £8.25 to secure the deal.

We have seen a sharp drop in short positions over the last few days and looking at the charts it is obvious a proper manifestation and shaking tree process is taking place , and they are cooking their books to scape with minimum losses.

I am confident that we get an improved offer from Castlelake and a successful take over soon.

I assume brokers are at large helping their friendly big institutions who are shorting the stock by coming up with stupid and manipulated ratings. I remember years ago, a broker told me that one of his very successful clients studies all newspapers tips and banks ratings etc, and goes opposite to what the brokers ratings. I just ignore all their manipulation and ratings.

I think Castlelake will submit a full and final offer, rather than another small increase to their £6.5 offer, so that they are taken seriously. The board of directors are on one hand do not want to annoy the investors to have their share price dropped if no bid is accepted, and on the other hand they want to pretend to protect the investors by not selling on the cheap.

Let’s hope we get the full and final offer before the weekend. Castlelake Donot want another bidder entering the ring and are keen to settle the matter asap. I still think £8.25 be the final offer

The situation in the Persian Gulf is very limited and purely to satisfy the domestic audiences, US wants to keep Israel happy to show their care and Iranian regime wants to keep their small minority anti peace, happy by acting like this. In my opinion these events are all staged and there has been no US casualties. Both Iran and US never ever go back to full scale war as before. Some people try to make a big thing out of something very small. Overall, the oil prices will go down further and we also get an improved offer from Castlelake.

My prediction as before, is around £8.25 per share from Castlelake

I think those who are happy to sell at these prices and in a way, are conservative about their money, I suggest they should not be in buying and selling shares, some building societies offer them good rates.

I am not being rude nor disrespectful to anyone, but golden opportunities like this does not happen everyday, you take a risk and the bigger the risk , the bigger rewards.

I am sure we get an improved offer from Castlelake and those brave risk taker get rewarded nicely.

I assume Castlelake gone through so much to sort out EU regulations requirements etc done, and also their reputation is on the line as they failed to take over of Spirit Airline. Therefore I believe we will definitely get an offer well over their last offer having excess to the EZ board and getting important information on the EZ books etc.

I wonder if they wait till last minute to submit a full and offer any earlier. Bear in mind the oil prices coming down everyday which it is not in their favour.

If you look at the charts , on 6 January 2026, less six months ago, the share price was £5.22, that was before the oil prices going up due to war , etc, also this price represented diluted share value due to rights issue.

Now the oil prices going down fast, and many financial institutions have valued EasyJet much higher due to their assets and so on. Based on price of 6 January 2026 of £5.22, I can see higher prices disregards of any take over

The board engagement to allow Castlelake appreciate the actual value of easyJet is very encouraging and the fact that the board rejected their previous offers, means that there is potential increase in the offer. We shall see minimum offer of £7 from Castlelake. Let’s do not forget the oil prices are coming down daily. I think we get another bidder entering the ring
