You can read posts, why can't you read the RNSs? If you need clarification, take it up with AB. No point in contacting Randy since you are not an NCT shareholder. Three partners at SC will result in different decisions compared to just one decision maker. It is no big deal: personally I would prefer 10 workovers at $80k each each producing say 70 bopd compared to one new drill for $800k targeting 200 bopd. When I spoke to Randy face to face about workovers and recompletions at the AGM (Peckham was there as was Ooaah) he stated that in a lot of instances that the well casings had collapsed and the wells were unusable. He put this down to them being old wells, using old drilling techniques including old cementing technologies. If you look at the RNSs about LM20 you will see NCT made a big issue about the cement job and the completion process: this was to make sure that we did not have a repeat of the issues with poor cement jobs and well collapses. These wells need to last 12 - 15 years for their intended production life. The well life could be longer if they use secondary and tertiary recover techniques or well stimulation techniques. If you did some reading and research you would know this. Constantly trying to find a reason to **** off NCT and AB is clouding your judgment. DYOR

You are not a shareholder in NCT as far as I understand it. The only reason you are posting here is that you have a grudge against Andrew Bell. Now that AB/RRR are partners in SC it brings you here. Our attention is not being diverted: there are now three partners in the SC field and they will make decisions together. I have for a long time repeatedly posted and brought up with Randy via email and at the AGM that multiple workover opportunities exist at SC. Although the new drills are exciting, the workovers and recompletions can be better business: ie., they have a better risk/reward profile. Try reading the NCT and the RRR RNSs, in this case they were particularly informative. Hint: significant uplift in resources and several new drill locations. ie., this well isn't just about getting 60/80 barrels of production. If you weren't so jaundiced you would be able to see this for yourself. If they can get 60/80 bopd from LM19 plus some gas for circa $60/$80k that is a better bet than spending circa $800k for 200 bopd and some gas. Try thinking about it and putting your hatred of AB away to one side.

If you look at the Aminex report they commented on behind the pipe assets. A lot more cheap improvements to be had in my view.

It will be good, if it hadn't worked we would know by now. The question is how good. I still can't see it being done for circa $40k as per the RRR RNS: likely nearer to $80k.

A lot of drilling is going to happen in MX plus workovers and recompletions. I saw something the other day and posted it on here: it said drilling muds accounted for 10% of total drill costs. Selling drilling muds from the MDF should be a money earner. To have the RP taking the remediation and making the drilling muds with a oilfield services company to sell it would make a lot of sense. Yep Randy did an interview about a year ago in which he said he wanted to bring US providers of oilfield services into MX. He posited a number of positions: NCT could do it in a JV; NCT could participate along the lines of MXO and ADL; NCT could take fees and an equity position as an introductory commission/fee for setting deals up. It seemed like a good idea at the time and now it must be even better. Practically no drilling is going on in the US so oilfield services company CEOs must be crying themselves to sleep at night.

Good. As always a lot happening it just has to drop. Seen some comments on ADL; it seems we might hear something soon from that direction.

It is what happens some people buy and some people sell it is no big deal. NCT is making progress quite nicely. I suspect we might hear something from ADL shortly. The sentiment seems to have turned over there. We could do with confirmation of the drill timescale and what is happening with the SIAK deal.

Any idea on timescale? PS surprised that AB and RRR are not agitating for a further update on LM19. I don't think we will get 200 bopd out of it but anything between 50 and 100 bopd would be a result.

Funny. I met Peckham, Noli and Ooaah at last year's AGM. I don't think Ooaah holds anymore, Noli is on holiday and I have never met or spoken to Orslega. Not very organised and not very rampy. Lets see in a few days. I am happy with what we know is happening and if the other thing I have been told is true then I will be very, very happy and I will not be selling for a quick 10%. Thanks

IG and LSE both say it is still 18% up. I haven't sold any. You might find some of the placees are selling some that they got stuck with. The MMs will take and wait for the next move up.

It is the way the stock market works: some people buy shares and the share price goes up. Some shares have been bought today and the SP. It is not rocket science. For the record, I haven't bought today, I bought yesterday. You might be surprised to learn that some LTHs are quite pleased that there is sign of life in the SP. PS the RR BB have been on, they want their troll back. They say we already have enough of our own. Ta!
