I've always suspected Si's a bit of a puppet with his strings being pulled by someone like Christian W Ahlefeldt-Laurvig or the like. I wish Simon would concede he's not the man for the job.
Sentiment?? Si seems to be doing us no favours being of the glass half empty brigade in the marketing department.
Simon’s so obviously not a Salesman, what chance have we got if we don’t sell anything?
Serif, giving Si the benefit of doubt what price would you realistically expect within say 18 months? just curious.
Anyone else have an idea for that matter???
If you have to ask the question you sadly probably know the answer, they’re obviously not very good at their jobs.
"70% down in 5 years regardless who’s involved or what’s happened, is a bad company performance"
That's not even standing still that's failure where I come from.
The man's a waste of space, in my opinion.
Cost cutting, pay cuts or no pay cuts or all the re balancing in the world.
It’s like he’s been trying to sell our oil to chip shops he’s so inept.
That's an understatement if I've ever heard one.
That's good news, everything is going to be OK.
I’m probably wrong, but I wouldn’t have thought he would have let such a great investment go over a a few negative posters, who knows?
I asked that question years ago when I thought Tip-top was silly bailing out at 6p
He said it was sentiment which at the time I didn’t understand. I now think he was probably right and it’s the same reason now.
You can pad your portfolio out with as many geothermal holes as you like but investors need to believe you’re going to do something with them or rather have the ability to do something with them.
I really do want to be wrong in my cynicism.
You must have imagined the North Sea, I've imagined lots of things over the years??
It's his job to face the music and make hard decisions to earn his self-appointed jobs salary is it not.
It’s obvious, or rather it should be that anyone who’s bought a chunk of shares at a penny is going to have a different slant on things compared to some of us who have watched things slide since Kosmos bailed out.

Good job Simons not trying to sell ice to the Eskimos, beginning to wonder if we've got the wrong type of gas in our portfolio.
A lot of us here think we know something, in truth we know nothing and are told even less.
Nice £46 buy, makes me die??
I put £120 of diesel in my van just now and that's all we can manage today.
What is the matter with them??
The truth is there’s nothing to tell because they’ve not achieved anything to tell us about, Simon and pals are probably just balancing to the left or the right, rebalancing until someone phones offering a life line for the assets we’re sitting on.
