I can confirm that the workover rig is being mobilised to wressle as I type. My valuable sources confirmed there is no pump needed for the initial "restricted" 500bopd. Photo and official update to follow #edr #ujo

Now as for INEOS Mirasol -Hyundai & INEOS are looking at opportunities for production & supply of hydrogen as well as the worldwide deployment of hydrogen applications & technologies. Also, will seek to facilitate public & private sector projects focused on the development of a hydrogen value chain in Europe. PlusChemical giant INEOS has formed a new energy group headed by Brian Gilvary after retiring from BP, 'INEOS Energy.'

Zero Carbon Humber boys - think gas to hydrogen. Not sure how you will heat your baked beans at camp mind you. West Newton will have plenty of gas to offer.

I spent some time reading Ruth Hayhurst's Drill or Drop last night Mirasol.
The similarities between Ruth and yourself Mirasol are quite something, in terms of the way you and her cover every oiler, but only in a negative way.

We 'need' oil for many years to come whether you like it or not and the lack of investment in to oil will soon go in our favour when the demand increases due to this. Opec meeting tomorrow with the outcome expected to be a lower than first planned increase in production - which will be a positive. Vaccines will become more effective and normality will resume with travel improving and demand for oil.

Also, I was re listening to a very good interview with David regarding Biscathorpe. if anyone is excited for West Newton, standby for the mighty Biscathorpe !

Wressle producing in the next few weeks. A great achievement for Union Jack Oil and all of the partners who had to waste time an energy with the Drill and Drop brigade. Hey ho, I am sure David is smiling now and so will the shareholders be when the profits start to reflect in the share price.

All bodes well for the value of the West Newton asset in my mind.
