The consolidation is a very good thing here because it will attract institutional investors.

David and his team obviously believe this is the right time to do it and are confident in the portfolio of assets as we move forward now.

COP26 will go in Union Jack Oil's favour imo. It really is the last chance to save the world from climate change. In Belgium INEOS and Engie are currently pilotting natural gas to hydrogen on a commercial scale. Then you have Engie and Equinor partnering up too where they will investigate the production and market potential for hydrogen from natural gas whereby the CO2 will be captured and stored permanently offshore. No wonder we read rumours of West Newton and majors.
COP26 will only secure more commitment and funding for these projects.

Just look at one of the comments at the end of Ruth's article from someone :

'Show your disapproval 20th of this month in London, they can not manage thousands, get there with your banners etc and stick close to each other'

This is a global pandemic. How utterly is irresponsible is that ?!
