Now as reported in the Financial times INEOS energy Brian Gilvary . " We have an appetite to acquire.." when it comes to Oil and Gas assets.

Also notably the Acorn project in Scotland has has a MOU signed between the Acorn Project partners, Storegga, Shell and Harbour Energy ... and INEOS and Petroineous.

Now the Acorn project, I did mention a while back sees itself like a super highway that can link up to the Humber ( as mentioned in a presentation ). Acorn is a low-cost, low-risk carbon capture and storage (CCS) project, designed to be built quickly, taking advantage of existing oil and gas infrastructure and a well understood offshore CO2 storage site. Ties in great for West Newton.
Infact they plan to take CO2 from across Europe.

What's this gotta do with West Newton ?

You should be talking about the East Coast Cluster.

The HUMBER and Teeside joining together to decarbonise near on half of the UK's industrial cluster emissions.

In my opinion we do have the Gas at West Newton and we are slap bang in the middle of a crucial technology for reaching the goals of the Paris Agreement with CCUS and hydrogen.

COP26 will be interesting as it will highlight how much work and investment is still required globally.

Already it is being reported that families could be given cash to offset higher gas bills under new green government plans. Hello Hydrogen.

And as Bernard Looney said from BP this week .."the money we make from oil and gas is what finances our transformation..and without it we simply couldn’t make the change..."

Low carbon spend will be massively ramped up Worldwide.

As for West Newton, operations are still ongoing and I am still very happy with my investment.

They are the only ones who are in control of what is actually going on and nobody else knows anything apart from guessing.

I spoke to a cornerstone investor from here yesterday. Just an investor like all of us to me but bigger. Apparently he speaks to Stephen an Sachin and just wanted a chat with me about West Newton my West Newton thoughts . He still holds and has done other stuff here. above my head. Very nice man to talk to and intelligent. Got me googling anyway. And NO, nothing inside as some suggest.
