People will die from the cold and go hungry with fuel poverty. This energy crisis will bankrupt people and countries.
Should we have been in this mess if the greens had not forced the majors in to under investment into oil and gas ? Quite frankly the policies were all dreadfully thought through and COP26 was just a show case for political correctness and no more.

We learn to live with covid now, and yes it was a horrible time too and sadly people did die too but longterm, I see energy as much worse. Now we have Russia to contend with. You do not mess with Putin. I posted that he will convert the Euro to the Ruble and give you the gas you get and no more. Gas is already at an all time high price an it isnt even the winter. Germany & Nordstream 2 have much to answer for as do many people who are party to this mess. That includes our own councillors refusing planning and now look where we are...they are already pivoting back to hydrocarbons as they know the damage this is causing. BUT...it is too late.
