£10 per kg is a game changer when compared to existing hydrogen costs. If we’re comparing hydrogen to diesel then it gets a bit more complicated given hydrogen has about 3 times the energy per kg to diesel. You then have to consider how much of that power you get from that potential - for example a fuel cell will give you up to 60% of that potential whereas diesel is up to 40%.
Too complex for this time of the morning but it looks more favourable for hydrogen than just comparing £10 to £1.65 although still not perhaps equal to diesel yet.
