I think it’s reasonable to expect problems with scaling new technology, but not that introducing a complementary new product to that technology means priorities have changed.

Perhaps, but I’ve read that conversion of hydrogen gas to liquid consumes around 30% of the energy content so it’s questionable as to whether it’s worth the effort overall, especially as you’d need to store it before then transferring it to the vehicle.

It would be very expensive to liquify the cracked hydrogen and be quite inefficient. Also wouldn’t it need purifying too?
