I'm getting bored with the continuing change of the bench mark for hedging. this week its distillates, last week it was false news re 100mbpd extra, week before it was trade wars etc etc. When oil was on its major drop it was all about stockpiles and nothing else. Nice work if you can control it. Keep it down before the opec meeting and make $5+ pb when nothing happens and it shoots straight back up very quick. I don't do charts but it looks like a triple bottom forming. Or maybe I'm talking out of mine?

Its all bull, every bit of negative news gets blown out of proportion for the convenience of the shorters, look what one little comment from an unnamed source about 1m bpd increase did a couple of weeks ago, within 24hrs you'd have thought it was carved in stone and happening. Rig count is another pointless figure used for convenience as well, it don't matter how many there are, its how much they produce and we all know older shale wells decline rapidly.
