Thanks to all the people who attended and made notes, hopefully more news to come, in the not to distant future. GLA
Assuming some people attended the AGM, what was the general feeling after Colin had his say, are we anywhere near something positive? Thanks in advance
That`s fine by me gw 123
gw, I will let you know, if I get some news from ITI, but they are very slow and after the nightmare that was SVS, I`ll be glad to get the transfer done to Barclays. ATB
gw123, I`m in exactly the same boat, as I was with SVS and now Capital, so I`m in the process of transferring to Barclays share dealing, which I believe is £4 a month standard fee and obviously normal costs on sales and buys.. I have asked about getting a share cert from ITI for WRES and have been told by one advisor there, that it costs £50, which I have objected to and said that this is not my fault ITI is closing, so they hopefully will let me know the outcome next week.
I must admit to have been a supporter of TM over the years and believed in what could be achieved, but now after several emails to the company and never even had a reply of any sort, my patience is really wearing thin and will most probably be selling up soon. Comms is a very basic requirement for any company and ARS are no exception, has anyone here had any comms with the company?
The demand is certainly there and we are in the best place we`ve been in for many years, as another piece of the jigsaw slots into place, with hopefully more good news to come soon. I`m certainly feeling more comfortable with all my top ups here and with the big players being cash rich, they will be looking for the next decent prospect. GLA
Esquimo, I`m not holding my breath on a reply, just thought it was worth trying. Shame they don`t keep us better informed, considering we are paying their wages and have done for many years. Let`s hope things change regarding comms and movement/sales of coal. GLA
Thanks for the replies, I have written to EDL to try and get a net figure and if I get a reply with any info, I will post it. GLA
Does anyone have a rough idea what the net profit is on a ton of our coal? GLA
What price are we selling the coal per ton?
Let`s give them a chance and see what happens. I certainly hope they can turn this around, after all the years of poor comms and movement of coal. It would be great to see some real volume in sales and new orders coming in, as we certainly have a lot of coal to shift. GLA especially the new management team.
Apologies for possibly asking the obvious, but been here for many, many years with a major shortfall and lost interest over the declining years. Has a dividend been paid out over the past few months and if so, how much? Thanks in advance.
The volume traded here today doesn`t warrant a 11% drop, so assume MM`S are playing their games, but I really hope CB is going to deliver a blinder here and very soon.
Totally agree Eric, we have always known the tax issue was there and wasn`t going away and it would be illogical for any government, especially in the present financial climate to use this as an obstacle to Sound, as they need this gas more than ever and obviously with the potential for further discoveries/developments, they would be cutting their nose off to spite their face. GLA
After 11 years here and still keeping the faith, especially with what we already have and the future prospects, it`s a no brainer IMHO. To get to where we are now, in comparison to a few years ago, is a major achievement and with more news to come hopefully, this SP should be a distant memory. It`s disappointing considering the news we have received for funding, but the backing of a major bank, with Royal connections and the government pushing Sound, has to be positive and who knows, a major with deep pockets could bring a nice pay day. GLA
No one is happy with the delays and i`m sure he is doing his best, to get this sorted, but using those sort of names to describe him, is out of order, unless you know him personally. He holds a decent amount of shares here, so it`s in his own interests as well, to get a deal done. GLA
