I'm fairly stoical about stock trading the old saying" the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent" is worth remembering. But i also had nerves over this one, when you think about having 6% of your stock floating around not held by an II and that amount regularly churning about would hold the stock down. It will take a lot to change the trend on this share completely but this might be enough to send it up to post NJ news in the 130's.

the reason for no RNS, is its been agreed in principle they'll wait till confirmed before a full RNS comes out.
They must have done due diligence and also it hints they are a hands on investor as attested to a board appointment, it must bode well , they see something good there. hopefully that appointment along with the words expressed here about Borgata not sitting by, will give our board a well needed kick up the jacksie.
NEW YORK, Feb. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SpringOwl Gibraltar Partners B Limited ("SpringOwl") announces that it has agreed in principle to acquire, in aggregate, 49,829,863 ordinary shares in bwin.party digital entertainment plc ("bwin"), representing approximately 6.1% of the ordinary share capital of bwin, from Emerald Bay Limited ("Emerald") and Stinson Ridge Limited ("Stinson"). I had a meeting with my boss today, instead of how many sites i complete in a week, i have asked that my pay is going to based on how many butterflies i see in a day. I told him the current way is too restrictive that i'm never going to meet his targets but that other companies will probably want to steal me away unless i get a massive pay rise and new metrics in place............... We cannot let this lot detach their rewards from the SP they've lost 40% while its been a focus, without that it'll go down to 75p.
How do we as small shareholders vote against this? I own many 10's thousands of this share I'd like my say to be heard not just hi.
Well give us £3 a share and you can have it, losing revenue year on year and over 50% in SP does not in my mind merit an EGM. Rewarding mediocrity or worse is becoming endemic, but only at board level.
I read very few boards as they are weak with unsubstantiated conjecture. This board has strong views but we'll reasoned , no one minds differing views based on thought out rationale.
Kamel we must admit that the USA was by far the biggest market pre anti gaming laws. Let's give bwin a chance , as far as we can discern we are leading the New Jersey poker stats. We have sports betting experience if that is legalised. I am a long suffering partygaming holder so do not wear rose tinted glasses but I feel relatively confident of good results. The recent share drop is just the vagaries of the market and I will hold tilll back to just short of 140's. time will tell as always.
But i'll be one in a mental home if it doesn't pick up.
But enough is enough. Have a look at this article a great precis of BWIN http://www.gamingintelligence.com/business/23500-bwin-party-takes-wooden-spoon-for-2013?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Daily+News+Review+121213&utm_content=Daily+News+Review+121213+CID_bf8322b4490e80fd9533cdd9e61669ec&utm_source=Email%20marketing%20software&utm_term=Read%20More ........ I think Norbert has 2014 to turn around then if its not getting there he's not the man for the job. I have a feeling of 60% to 40% positive for this year but here's hoping. By the way I'm in for a further tranche at 118 but i'll trade these up to 130 leaving my core holdings.
Nomoney it's bwin's history I'm afraid they have up to this point managed to grab defeat from the jaws of victory time and time again. We should see if Norbert will open batting for England. I'ts a bit like a supertanker we need a few good quarters to turn this ship around. I've been in this fir years and I'm as frustrated as anyone but green shoots are appearing hope Norbert doesn't stomp on them.
Carnage across the stock market, quality stock down all ove,r and Carpet right who have issued profit warnings, are selling stores, issued statements outlining tough times ahead, is up 2.5%. I sometimes think its not only Governments that are being run by nutters, its the MM as well. Still ill take a gain where i can get it at the moment, i'm not sure for how long though ill stay in, my finger is over the sell button.
Goldman sachs downgrades TNI to 55p from 75p, so we see why short interest was up on this.
This share has been trading a range of 44p to 49p nicely for the last few months, I've searched all the news channels nothing jumps out as to a reason for this further drop taking it out of this range, anybody seen anything? Or is it the vagaries of the markets i had noticed shorting was up on this last week.
With a merger to become one, of if not the largest, on line gaming companies in the world the SP seems a very lacklustre. I suppose its a wait and see what the resultant BWIN.Prty brings to the table, a nice announcement of a hook up with one of the US casinos would be good . Patience is the name of the game.
After many months of pain on this stock, it looks like some big buys are starting to roll in. No chickens and egg counting yet, but its starting to look more hopeful. I've added yesterday to average down to 201 we'll see what the next few weeks brings.
Its a tentative veto with certain sections having to be re written i suppose its better to be introduced and be legal rather than being accepted then having issues. Glass is half full i think.
ahhh the old cup half full scenario. bet your cup is half full of exotic cocktails by the pool? but,yes your right, positive thoughts.......nope,,,, back to dark somber clouds of doubt.
