The cases concerning the applied processing licenses for the areas Kallak K no. 1 in Jokkmokk municipality and Laver K no. 1 in Älvsbyn municipality contain extensive documentation with several complex issues, such as balances according to the Environmental Code between several different national interests. This obviously affects the processing time.

However, the starting point for the government's handling is always that it should be done quickly, efficiently and without compromising legal certainty. At this stage, I cannot comment on when the cases are sufficiently prepared so that decisions can be made.

We have seen sentiments such as this before - 'logical to assume'. Unfortunately the Swedish Government has not acted logically. I am hoping for a yes on 3rd June but fear more delay tactics and not a decision. I logically expect that BEO should step it up if Baylan comes up with more, as one poster puts it here, flurgle gurgle on June 3rd!

Yet no movement in the price. Swedes seem to be spooked that fundraising is coming and seem resigned to no Kallak decision during this parliament. I hope they are wrong and this June review a) actually happens in June and b) it leads to some Kallak movement/action.
This mining application is starting to feel a little like trench warfare where there is not much movement, everyone seems hacked off and a few months turns to several years and everyone ends up skint in the end (I hope not).
