This is what I’m saying, it’s ridiculous! Shouldn’t be on boohoos head to take blame for the supplier actions.

Wyndrum, truthfully I think it’s going down because PI’s can’t stand the constant onslaught of the media negativity. It’s constant and when you have money invested that plays with emotions and people panic sell.

As for illegal practice, then if it came to light, I would obviously use a different supplier. As it hasn’t, I have to place my trust in them and their service. Like I mention, it’s what I’m paying for afterall.

Yeah, Chris I agree with you something definitely needs to be done. But this way we are allowing big companies to ‘police’ their own suppliers, this way if anything goes wrong that company gets the full brunt of the media, it’s not fair.

There needs to be a governing body of some sort to carry out their own inspections. They would have to pass all sorts of checks. Allowing the bigger brands to choose the ones that only passed those inspections.

Just adding onto that. If they carried out an inspection into a factory I’ve just used, and they didn’t meet regulations, would I get the blame? I’m putting my full trust into the supplier (by paying them for that service). It’s all ridiculous.

Call me naive. But every issue being put on this company is being committed by the supplier. Boohoo pay the suppliers for a service, if they can’t carry out the task properly, then why do boohoo get the blame? We need to think logically here. The only way around this in my eyes is:
A) stop using suppliers, create their own factory and use that.
B) use suppliers abroad.

I’ve literally just had some clothes ordered for my brand, from a supplier in Pakistan. The estimated time of arrival is 3 days. Using suppliers abroad will barely make a dent in turn around time.

On anything! An acquisition, factory update? Christ lol frustrating share this xD

Not to worry though. This will be back to nearly 400 before the next results, with Black Friday and Christmas been and gone.

Yeah the general rule I try and stick to with Aim stocks is to sell on the news. I broke that rule here :) lesson learnt.

Honestly it’s mad. It’s the same people who watched boo plummet on fantastic results. If you can’t learn lessons from that they are going to lose money very quickly.
